Vickie Guerrero Has Got to Go

Vickie Guerrero

Vickie Guerrero is by far the most unbearable person to ever set foot in WWE and dare I say, the entire wrestling world altogether. Her voice is like hearing a chalkboard get scratched; maybe even worse. It especially sounds that way when she says “Excuse Me!” a term which she has butchered for life. If someone were ever to ask me if any other heel is so unbearable to listen to, I would tell that person that I could put up with listening to just about anybody because I have heard the way Vickie Guerrero sounds. Every time I watch a WWE program, there are certain times when I need to constantly cover my ears, just in case she arrives on the scene out of nowhere and catches people off guard with that butchered term. I also need to hit the mute button during all of her tirades because she could say that term at any time, when you least expect it. She is definitely not great to look at either; as a matter of fact, out of all the witches in wrestling history, she may be the first that actually looks like one. I have seen a lot of …

WWE Money In the Bank 7-14-13: Two Brand New Mr. Money In the Banks Crowned

Money In the Bank Kickoff

During the Money In the Bank Kickoff (Pre-Show), WWE Tag Team Champions and Shield members Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns defended their championships against #1 contenders and Reigns’ second cousins The Usos (Jimmy & Jey). The Usos came within inches of becoming the new champions, but in the end, it was Reigns who hit Jimmy with his signature maneuver “The Spear” to get the pin and the win for his team and retain their championships. I sure hope The Usos aren’t done with The Shield because Jimmy & Jey are way overdue for a WWE Tag Team Championship reign.

It’s Not Cryback, It’s Ryback

Chris Jericho went one-on-one with Ryback. During the weeks leading up to their match, Jericho played mind games with Ryback by referring to him as “Cryback”; unfortunately, it was not enough to over come the powerhouse when Ryback rolled up Jericho to get the pin and the win.

Kaitlyn’s Injury May Have Cost Her

In a WWE Divas Championship rematch between BFFs-turned-bitter enemies, Champion AJ Lee (accompanied by Big E Langston) and Challenger Kaitlyn (accompanied by Layla El), Kaitlyn came into the match wearing a sleeve over her injured left …

WWE Raw 7-1-13: The Two World Champions Collide

Every Money In the Bank Competitor, Except One, States His Case

With the WWE Championship Contract Money In the Bank Briefcase hanging above the ring and a ladder inside the ring, Daniel Bryan came out to state his case on why he would win the WWE Championship Contract Money In the Bank Ladder Match at the upcoming WWE event, Money In the Bank. Then, all the rest of the competitors for this match came out, which consists of Sheamus O’Shaunessy, Randy Orton, Kane, Christian, and CM Punk. The only one who was conspicuous by his absence was Rob Van Dam. After all the rest of the men stated their cases, chaos followed when Orton struck Kane with his signature maneuver “The RKO”.

Kane Gets Some Unwanted Assistance

Backstage, Daniel Bryan informed his former Team Hell No tag team partner Kane that Raw Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero made a match between Kane and Randy Orton with Daniel Bryan as the special guest referee. I am a fan of both Kane and Orton and was not sure who to root for in this one. As for the match, at one point, Orton kind of shoved Bryan, leading to Bryan disqualifying Orton …

WWE Raw 6-17-13: Daniel Bryan Finally Proves to the Entire World (or Rather Himself) That He Is Not the “Weak Link”

 Double Disqualification = Rematch

The show began with a rematch between Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan. I am a fan of both of these men and I was not sure who to root for in this one. At one point, both men ended up outside the ring and got so aggressive with one another to the point where they both ended up getting disqualified. This led to Bryan, who has been obsessed with not being called the “weak link” for quite some time now, going to Raw Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and demanding a rematch for later in the evening, which Vickie eventually agreed to.

AJ Lee Strikes Again

During a match between Kaitlyn (accompanied by Layla El) and Aksana, Kaitlyn’s theme music hit and out comes WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee dressed as her. Aksana tried to take advantage of the distraction, but Kaitlyn was able to hit her with her signature maneuver “The Spear” to get the pin and the win. After the match, AJ Lee had her friend Big E Langston come out and they then proceeded to mock Kaitlyn by re-enacting the hoax that AJ pulled on Kaitlyn a few weeks ago. Layla ended up having …

WWE Raw 6-17-13: Changes In the Air

I was in attendance for this edition of Raw that took place at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The show began with the new World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio (accompanied by his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez). Del Rio addressed his actions from the previous night at the Payback Pay-Per-View event and was met with a chorus of boos from the WWE Universe. After all of this, Del Rio then stated that for the last few months, he has fought for the WWE Universe and all they did was disrespect him. After making this statement, it was clear that both Del Rio and Rodriguez had turned heel. They are then interrupted by CM Punk (accompanied by Paul Heyman); Punk then made it clear that he did not appreciate Del Rio’s posturing. Then, despite protests from Heyman, Punk went on to challenge Del Rio to a non-title match for later on in the show. Raw Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero (accompanied by her assistant Brad Maddox) came out and announced that the match would happen in the night’s main event. Also, after losing the Intercontinental Championship to Curtis Axel the night before at Payback, Barrett was scheduled to have …

WWE Raw 6-10-13: Triple H and Mr. McMahon At Odds, Stephanie McMahon Caught In the Middle

The show began with WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H going against his father-in-law, WWE Chairman, and CEO Vincent K. McMahon’s and Triple H’s wife Stephanie McMahon’s wishes by going one-on-one with Curtis Axel (accompanied by Paul Heyman). At one point, while Triple H had the match well in hand, Vince McMahon comes out and orders the timekeeper to ring the bell to end the match, then he tells ring announcer Justin Roberts to announce Curtis Axel as the winner as a result of a disqualification. Then, Triple H gives the order to restart the match. Afterward, Mr. McMahon gives the order to declare Curtis Axel the winner as a result of a forfeit. Then, Triple H gives the order to restart the match and declares it a 60-minute Iron Man Match. Lastly, Mr. McMahon comes out to declare Curtis Axel the winner once and for all by absconding the ring bell and microphone used by Justin Roberts, so that Triple H can’t restart the match again. Later on, Triple H speaks with his wife backstage and tells her that her father crossed the line. While Stephanie agreed with her husband, she begged him not to hurt his father-in-law. While …

WWE Raw 5-20-13: Two Superstars Get the Biggest Wins of Their Careers

The show began with Ryback actually arriving into the arena in the back of an ambulance. After Ryback stepped out of the ambulance and then on top of it, he then went on to challenge WWE Champion John Cena in an Ambulance Match for the championship at the upcoming Payback Pay-Per-View event and the match has been made official. Also, after hearing all the rumors, it was confirmed that Paul Heyman had enlisted a new client named Curtis Axel, the man formerly known as Michael McGillicutty. As Heyman discusses Axel, he is then interrupted by WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H. Triple H then tells Heyman that he has every intention of kicking his ass. Then, Axel gets in Triple H’s face, but ends up receiving a slap for his troubles. Triple H then says that he will face Axel in a match later on in the evening and added that after he kicks Axel’s ass, he’s going to kick Heyman’s. Also, Alberto Del Rio (accompanied by his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez), the new #1 contender to Dolph Ziggler’s World Heavyweight Championship, went one-on-one with NXT Champion Big E Langston (accompanied by AJ Lee). In the end, thanks to …

WWE Raw 5-6-13: John Cena and Ryback Will Take A “Stand” At Extreme Rules

The show began with WWE Champion John Cena coming out to address the condition of his Achilles heel injury and whether or not he’ll be able to compete at the upcoming Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View event. Cena said that as long as he’s medically cleared, he’ll always step in the ring and fight. Then, Raw Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero comes out and she then invites Ryback to come out as well. Vickie then asks both men what stipulation they want to have for their WWE Championship Match at Extreme Rules. Cena said that it didn’t matter to him and he allowed Ryback to choose the stipulation. The stipulation that Ryback chose was a Last Man Standing Match; therefore, at Extreme Rules, Cena will be defending his championship against Ryback in a Last Man Standing Match. Also, United States Champion Kofi Kingston and The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) took on The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns) in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. I would like to point out that The Usos are actually second cousins to Roman Reigns; therefore, it was two family members taking on another family member. As for the match, thanks to Reigns knocking Kingston off …

WWE Raw 4-29-13: The Shield Remains Undefeated As A Trio

The show began with a Triple Threat Match set up by the Senior Advisor to the Smackdown General Manager (WWE Hall of Famer Booker T) Teddy Long. Teddy did not run this by Booker T like he’s supposed to. As for the match, it was between Ricardo Rodriguez (accompanied by Alberto Del Rio), NXT Champion Big E Langston (accompanied by World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler & AJ Lee), and Zeb Colter (accompanied by Jack Swagger). At the upcoming Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View event, Dolph Ziggler will be defending his championship against both Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger in a Triple Threat Match. The winner in this Triple Threat Match between Rodriguez, Langston, and Colter would allow his respective representative to choose the stipulation for the Triple Threat Match at Extreme Rules. After outside interference from all parties, it was Rodriguez who rolled up Colter for the pin and the win; therefore, Del Rio got to choose the stipulation for his match at Extreme Rules. Also, just hours after making an appearance on the talk show “Today”, Cena came to Raw with three Make-A-Wish Kids. The three Make-A-Wish Kids were granted their wishes by becoming honorary WWE Superstars for the evening. …

WWE Raw 4-22-13: John Cena “Adjusts” Ryback’s “Attitude”

The show began with Paul Heyman in the ring telling everybody that he was there on behalf of his client Brock Lesnar to await WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H’s response to Lesnar’s challenge to Triple H in a Steel Cage Match at the upcoming pay-per-view event, Extreme Rules. Heyman then informed the WWE Universe that he had received a text from Triple H saying that he wasn’t going to be at Raw this night due to the injuries to his arm he is recovering from and that he would give Lesnar his answer next week on Raw. However, Triple H’s music hit and out comes Triple H. Triple H then tells Heyman that the text he sent him was a lie. He then tells Heyman to tell Lesnar that he accepts his challenge at Extreme Rules and then hits Heyman with his signature move, the Pedigree. Also, Raw Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero and her assistant Brad Maddox informed World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler that if Chris Jericho wins in his non-title match against Ziggler, then Jericho will be added to the World Heavyweight Championship Match at Extreme Rules between champion Ziggler, Alberto Del Rio, and Jack Swagger, thus becoming …

WWE Raw 4-16-13: New United States Champion, Ryback Turns On His Fans

The show began with a rematch from this past Friday on Smackdown when Randy Orton & Sheamus faced The Big Show in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match. Despite Big Show dominating most of the match-up, Orton & Sheamus ended up coming out on top. This was the good news for Sheamus; however, the bad news was that later on in the show during an interview, Mark Henry ambushed Sheamus just like he did this past Friday on Smackdown. What exactly are Henry’s motives for these unprovoked attacks on Sheamus? Also, 3MB (Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre, & Jinder Mahal) called out The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns), but instead, they got Brock Lesnar, who came out and disposed of 3MB. After Lesnar’s manager Paul Heyman came out to calm him down, Heyman then informed WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H that Lesnar has issued a challenge to Triple H for the upcoming WWE Pay-Per-View Event, Extreme Rules. Lesnar has challenged Triple H to a Steel Cage Match. Triple H was late arriving at Raw this past Monday due to the fact that he was getting an MRI done on his injured arm. The good news is that nothing is …

WWE Raw 4-8-13: The Crowd Takes Over Raw the Night After WrestleMania 29

This edition of Raw took place at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This was the night after WrestleMania 29 and this may have been either the most fun, exciting, or bizarre (depending on which way you look at it) Raw in history. WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler has been known for calling Canada “Bizarro Land”, but after seeing this edition of Raw, East Rutherford, New Jersey may very well be “Bizarro Land”. For three straight hours, the crowd chanted the most random things at random times. Some chants were heard for Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, Jerry Lawler, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, the late Randy Savage, and even announcers Michael Cole and Justin Roberts and referee Mike Chioda. The crowd even chanted “We Are Awesome!”. Well, like I said, it just depends on how you look at it. But the chant that truly took over the rest of the night was when the crowd hummed Fandango’s entrance music, even after Raw went off the air. All I can say is that I am sure there are many things that would be an understatement to describe what we heard/witnessed last night on Raw. As for the show …

WWE Raw 3-25-13: WWE Championship Match For WrestleMania 29 Intensifies

The show began with CM Punk and Paul Heyman coming out to taunt Punk’s WrestleMania 29 opponent The Undertaker once more. Punk was still in possession of the urn he stole from Undertaker. Eventually, there was a gong and the lights went out in the arena. Then, there was a second gong and when the lights came back on, The Undertaker was in the ring. Undertaker started to attack Punk, but before he could regain possession of the urn, Paul Heyman sprinted off with it and Punk managed to escape Undertaker’s wrath. The mind games from Punk continue. Also, Fandango was scheduled to have a match, but before his opponent could even come out, Chris Jericho comes out to get some retribution on Fandango for his attack on Jericho this past Friday on Smackdown. Jericho drives Fandango out of the ring and Fandango’s match never gets under way. Then, Mr. Money In the Bank, accompanied by AJ Lee and NXT Champion Big E Langston, come out for Ziggler’s match with Jericho that they were supposed to have later on in the show. Jericho ends up defeating Ziggler, but Big E Langston attacks Jericho after the match and lays him out …

WWE Raw 3-18-13: New Matches Added to WrestleMania 29

On this edition of Raw, three more matches for WrestleMania were made. First, Raw Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero removed Ryback from the six-man tag team match for WrestleMania between Ryback himself, Randy Orton, and Sheamus against The Shield. Instead, Vickie booked him in a one-on-one match against Mark Henry at WrestleMania. This leaves Orton and Sheamus in need of a third partner. After Orton and Sheamus beat Heath Slater & Drew McIntyre of 3MB, The Shield looked to attack them, but Big Show came out to stand against The Shield and The Shield backed down. Then, Big Show implied to Orton and Sheamus that they should really consider him to be they’re partner for WrestleMania. I still don’t think Big Show is a trustworthy guy. Another match that was made for WrestleMania was WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No defending their championships against Mr. Money In the Bank Dolph Ziggler & Big E Langston. Also, Smackdown General Manager Booker T was announced as the latest inductee for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2013. Booker also mentioned on WWE Active that his brother, Stevie Ray, will be joining him on stage for a one night reunion of Harlem …

WWE Raw 3-11-13 Review

The program began with The Undertaker coming to the ring, with a vintage urn famously carried around by the late Paul Bearer waiting inside the ring, to pay tribute to his longtime adversary. However, it was soon interrupted by CM Punk. This caught the ire of another one of Paul Bearer’s longtime adversaries in WWE Tag Team Champion Kane. This led to Raw Managing Supervisor Vickie Guerrero making a No Disqualification Match between Kane and Punk for the main event. Also, Paul Heyman spoke on behalf of Brock Lesnar and said that WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H’s WrestleMania 29 challenge would be accepted by Brock on the condition that he gets to name the stipulation only after Triple H signs the contract. Despite the potential trap Triple H may be walking into, I think he will still agree to Lesnar’s terms. Also, Damien Sandow had a surprise for his tag team partner Cody Rhodes. That surprise turned out to be Nikki & Brie, The Bella Twins, who were fired last year but are now back in the WWE as of last night. The good news is that they still look as sexy as they did before, the bad news …
