WWE Should Make This Reality Show Happen

Daniel Bryan and Brie Bella

Jimmy Uso and Naomi

Tyson Kidd and Natalya

In a recent article from WWE.com, it talked about potential WWE reality shows. WWE has already produced three reality shows; which consists of Tough Enough, Total Divas and Legends’ House. One of the potential shows in the article is called The Real Husbands of WWE. It is considered a spin-off of Total Divas with the show revolving around both the professional and personal lives of some of the WWE Superstar husbands of the star cast members of Total Divas both past and present. For instance, the star cast members of The Real Husbands of WWE are Daniel Bryan (the husband of WWE Diva Brie Bella), Jimmy Uso (the husband of WWE Diva Naomi) and Tyson Kidd (the husband of WWE Diva Natalya). The article also mentioned that the show would feature guest appearances by WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H (the husband of WWE Diva and WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon). Out of all the potential reality shows mentioned in the article, I think that WWE should actually make this one happen. In addition to the names mentioned for this show, I also think that it would be a good idea to add additional names as star cast members …

The “WWE Countdown” Is On

WWE Countdown

WWE Network has officially launched and it includes all-new original programs. One of those programs is called Countdown. Countdown is a program where WWE counts down numerous top ten things in history. In the premiere episode, WWE counted down the top ten catchphrases in history. The list included famous catchphrases like Booker T’s “Can you dig it, Sucka?”, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s “If you Smell what The Rock…is cookin’”, Daniel Bryan’s “Yes! Yes! Yes!” and more. The #1 catchphrase was none other than Ric Flair’s “Woooooo!”. One catch phrase that was “Above and Beyond” the list was Vincent K. McMahon’s “You’re Fired!”. One of the best parts about the premiere episode of this program was that not only was Vickie Guerrero’s “Excuse Me!” not mentioned once, but Vickie was not shown on this episode at all; I guess there is a God. Based on this premiere episode, I truly believe there are more awesome things to come on Countdown.…

WWE Smackdown 6-28-13: Del Rio Fiesta Spoiled

Kaitlyn Turns the Tables On AJ Lee

WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee (accompanied by Big E Langston) went one-on-one with Natalya Neidhart in a non-title match. Right when the match officially got under way, AJ’s theme music hit and it was none other than Kaitlyn coming out dressed as AJ, similar to what AJ did to Kaitlyn on Raw the previous Monday. Kaitlyn then went on to ridicule her former BFF by telling everybody that in addition to the vast number of superstars AJ has been intimate with, there are rumors that she has been intimate with several of the WWE personnel that were seated at ringside, including Smackdown ring announcer Lilian Garcia. After AJ and Natalya began locking up with one another, Kaitlyn, at one point, began to skip around ringside in typical AJ fashion, which not only drove AJ insane, but provided enough of a distraction to allow Natalya to roll up AJ to get the pin and the win. After the match, Kaitlyn put the exclamation point on her mind games by hitting AJ with her signature maneuver “The Spear”.

WWE Smackdown 6-14-13: The Shield Finally Gets Beat As A Trio

On this edition of Smackdown, WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn was scheduled to go one-on-one with Aksana in a non-title match; however, prior to the match, a replay from this past Monday on Raw was shown of AJ Lee revealing to Kaitlyn that the whole secret admirer thing was a ploy set up by her just to psyche Kaitlyn out. After Kaitlyn had noticed Aksana laughing about it, Kaitlyn snapped and relentlessly attacked her. While referee Rod Zapata was trying to restrain Kaitlyn, she responded by slapping him in the face. After Aksana had finally escaped Kaitlyn’s grasp, Kaitlyn broke down in the ring for the second time in one week. The match had never officially started. Later on, the Senior Advisor to the Smackdown General Manager (WWE Hall of Famer Booker T) Teddy Long, who is running Smackdown while Booker T is out with an injury, announced in a WWE.com Exclusive video that while he understood what Kaitlyn is currently going through, he made it clear that a competitor, male or female, is not allowed to put their hands on referees; therefore, Teddy said that he had no choice but to fine Kaitlyn $10,000 for her actions. Speaking of Booker …

WWE Smackdown 5-24-13: The Shield Continues to Dominate

On this edition of Smackdown, one-half of Team Hell No Daniel Bryan was still having a hard time dealing with Team Hell No losing the WWE Tag Team Championship at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View event last Sunday. Bryan has this paranoia that he is the weak link of Team Hell No. Despite words of encouragement from the other half of Team Hell No Kane, it did nothing in snapping Bryan out of his paranoia. In his match against Jack Swagger, Bryan managed to beat him by getting him to tap out to his signature submission hold “The “No” Lock”. After the match, Bryan had snapped and once again locked Swagger in the “No” Lock” until his tag team partner Kane pulled him off. On this week’s edition of Backstage Fallout from Smackdown on WWE on YouTube, Bryan continued his tirade. Also, new United States Champion and Shield leader Dean Ambrose made his first championship defense against the very man he beat for it, Kofi Kingston. At one point in the match, while Kofi was getting ready to launch himself off the top ring rope onto Ambrose, the new WWE Tag Team Champions and other two Shield members Seth Rollins …

WWE Smackdown 5-17-13: “Extreme” Momentum

The show began with an edition of The Miz’s talk show “Miz TV”. The Miz’s two guests were Randy Orton and Big Show, who will go one-on-one in an Extreme Rules Match this Sunday at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View event. Eventually, Jack Swagger (accompanied by Zeb Colter), Alberto Del Rio (accompanied by his person ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez), Mark Henry, and Sheamus O’Shaunessy join the fray and then chaos ensues. Afterwards, the Senior Advisor to the Smackdown General Manager (WWE Hall of Famer Booker T) Teddy Long, who is running Smackdown while Booker T recovers from an elbow injury, decides to make a Six-Man Tag Team main event match for the evening between the team of Randy Orton, Sheamus, and Alberto Del Rio against the team of Big Show, Mark Henry, and Jack Swagger. Also, it was a family affair when The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) took on two members of The Shield (Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns, The Usos’ second cousin), who were accompanied by the leader of The Shield Dean Ambrose. Every guy in this match was a member of the famous Anoa’i Wrestling Family except for Rollins. In the end, it was The Shield who came out …

WWE Raw 5-13-13: Triple H Is Ready for Extreme Rules

The show began with a dance-off between Chris Jericho and his dance partner, professional ballroom dancer and ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” ballroom dancer Edyta Sliwinska and Fandango and his his dance partner, Summer Rae. There was ballroom dancing hard-wood floor inside the wrestling ring for the dance-off. Fandango and Summer were up first and during their dance, it appeared that Summer had twisted her ankle. Both Edyta and Jericho showed concern; while doing so, Fandango took advantage and jumped Jericho from behind and brutally attacked him, even using a piece of the hard-wood floor to hit Jericho in the face with. Afterwards, it was revealed that Summer was not hurt at all and leaped to her feet; therefore, it was a trap all along and the dance-off ended in a no contest. Personally, I think it was ridiculous that Edyta was invited to WWE Raw for a dance-off to not dance at all. It was also revealed that Jericho and Fandango will be going one-on-one at this Sunday’s Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View event. Every match at Extreme Rules is supposed to be contested under extreme rules; I think the extreme rules stipulation for this match should be having the ballroom …

WWE Smackdown 5-10-13: Chris Jericho Wins, But Ryback Still Rules

The show began with an edition of Chris Jericho’s talk show The Highlight Reel. Jericho’s guest was Ryback and after things began to get heated between the two, the Senior Advisor to the Smackdown General Manager (WWE Hall of Famer Booker T) Teddy Long came out and announced that it would be Jericho vs. Ryback in the main event of the evening. Since Booker T didn’t appear to be on this edition of Smackdown, my guess is that Teddy Long was put in charge of the show for the evening. Also, NXT Champion Big E Langston (accompanied by World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler & AJ Lee) was supposed to go one-on-one with Jack Swagger (accompanied by Zeb Colter). However, Alberto Del Rio was ringside on commentary and before the match even officially started, Del Rio got up from the announcers’ table, went over to grab a ladder from underneath the ring, and then slid the ladder inside the ring. Chaos then ensued with everybody taking one another out with the ladder and in the end, it was Del Rio who stood tall atop the ladder holding the World Heavyweight Championship high. Could this be the scene that everybody sees come …

WWE Smackdown 5-3-13: The Shield Continues Its Crusade

I was in attendance for this week’s edition of Smackdown at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. There was one match that took place before Smackdown went on the air; it was between Bo Dallas and Curt Hawkins with Dallas coming out on top. Also, WWE Tag Team Champion and one-half of Team Hell No went one-on-one with Ryback with Ryback coming out on top. Also, before his match with Fandango (accompanied by Summer Rae), Zack Ryder informed the WWE Universe in a WWE Active video that he no longer refers to himself as a broski or refers to things as “Sssiiiccckkk” because he feels that those two things just aren’t working for him anymore. As for the match, despite seeing a more-than-ever aggressive Ryder, it was still not enough to put away Fandango. Also, WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn received another gift from her secret admirer. Then, The Great Khali attempted to educate her on the ways of love. As I said before, while I think it’s acceptable for her to be interested, she should also watch her back at the same time because you never know, it could all be a trap. Also, Ricardo Rodriguez (accompanied by Alberto Del …

WWE Raw 4-29-13: The Shield Remains Undefeated As A Trio

The show began with a Triple Threat Match set up by the Senior Advisor to the Smackdown General Manager (WWE Hall of Famer Booker T) Teddy Long. Teddy did not run this by Booker T like he’s supposed to. As for the match, it was between Ricardo Rodriguez (accompanied by Alberto Del Rio), NXT Champion Big E Langston (accompanied by World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler & AJ Lee), and Zeb Colter (accompanied by Jack Swagger). At the upcoming Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View event, Dolph Ziggler will be defending his championship against both Alberto Del Rio and Jack Swagger in a Triple Threat Match. The winner in this Triple Threat Match between Rodriguez, Langston, and Colter would allow his respective representative to choose the stipulation for the Triple Threat Match at Extreme Rules. After outside interference from all parties, it was Rodriguez who rolled up Colter for the pin and the win; therefore, Del Rio got to choose the stipulation for his match at Extreme Rules. Also, just hours after making an appearance on the talk show “Today”, Cena came to Raw with three Make-A-Wish Kids. The three Make-A-Wish Kids were granted their wishes by becoming honorary WWE Superstars for the evening. …

WWE Raw 4-16-13: New United States Champion, Ryback Turns On His Fans

The show began with a rematch from this past Friday on Smackdown when Randy Orton & Sheamus faced The Big Show in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match. Despite Big Show dominating most of the match-up, Orton & Sheamus ended up coming out on top. This was the good news for Sheamus; however, the bad news was that later on in the show during an interview, Mark Henry ambushed Sheamus just like he did this past Friday on Smackdown. What exactly are Henry’s motives for these unprovoked attacks on Sheamus? Also, 3MB (Heath Slater, Drew McIntyre, & Jinder Mahal) called out The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, & Roman Reigns), but instead, they got Brock Lesnar, who came out and disposed of 3MB. After Lesnar’s manager Paul Heyman came out to calm him down, Heyman then informed WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H that Lesnar has issued a challenge to Triple H for the upcoming WWE Pay-Per-View Event, Extreme Rules. Lesnar has challenged Triple H to a Steel Cage Match. Triple H was late arriving at Raw this past Monday due to the fact that he was getting an MRI done on his injured arm. The good news is that nothing is …

WWE Smackdown 4-12-13: Fandango Attacks Chris Jericho…Again

On this edition of Smackdown, there were quite a few Raw Superstars that visited the show. The show began with NXT Champion Big E Langston mocking Ricardo Rodriguez’s introduction of Alberto Del Rio by introducing the new World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler in similar fashion. Dolph headed to the ring with both Big E and AJ Lee to address the success he had this past Monday on Raw by cashing in his Money In the Bank contract for an opportunity at the World Heavyweight Championship and defeating Del Rio for the championship. During Dolph’s address, he is interrupted by Jack Swagger & Zeb Colter. Colter tells Ziggler that Swagger played a huge role in him winning the championship this past Monday and that Swagger won’t be waiting so long for an opportunity at Ziggler’s championship. Then, he is interrupted by Del Rio who then tells Ziggler that once his leg is healed, he will be looking to reclaim the championship. Dolph is then interrupted by Chris Jericho who informs Dolph that Smackdown General Manager and WWE Hall of Famer Booker T has booked Jericho and Ziggler in a non-title main event match for the evening. Also, WWE Chief Operating Officer …

WWE Hall of Fame 2013 Induction Ceremony: Bruno Sammartino Headlines MSG One More Time

The 2013 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony took place this past Saturday at the World’s Most Famous Arena, Madison Square Garden. The Class of 2013 consisted of Current Saturday Morning Slam General Manager Mick Foley, Current Smackdown General Manager Booker T, Trish Stratus, Bob Backlund, celebrity honoree Donald Trump, and Bruno Sammartino. While Mick Foley was giving his acceptance speech, he said that the only regret he has is that he never beat Chris Jericho. Jericho came up on stage and agreed to lay down on the floor and allow Foley to give him an elbow drop and pin him; after Foley took up the offer, CM Punk came up on stage to make the 1-2-3 count. Also, Trish Stratus revealed at the end of her acceptance speech that she is pregnant and due in September. The ceremony ended with Bruno Sammartino, who has headlined MSG more times than anybody, headlining MSG one more time. The WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony is always filled with emotion, laughter, and good times and this year was no exception.…

WWE Raw 4-8-13: The Crowd Takes Over Raw the Night After WrestleMania 29

This edition of Raw took place at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This was the night after WrestleMania 29 and this may have been either the most fun, exciting, or bizarre (depending on which way you look at it) Raw in history. WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler has been known for calling Canada “Bizarro Land”, but after seeing this edition of Raw, East Rutherford, New Jersey may very well be “Bizarro Land”. For three straight hours, the crowd chanted the most random things at random times. Some chants were heard for Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, Jerry Lawler, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, the late Randy Savage, and even announcers Michael Cole and Justin Roberts and referee Mike Chioda. The crowd even chanted “We Are Awesome!”. Well, like I said, it just depends on how you look at it. But the chant that truly took over the rest of the night was when the crowd hummed Fandango’s entrance music, even after Raw went off the air. All I can say is that I am sure there are many things that would be an understatement to describe what we heard/witnessed last night on Raw. As for the show …

WWE WrestleMania 29: Undertaker 21-0, Triple H the Wrestler Lives, Alberto Del Rio Retains, and John Cena Gets Redemption

WrestleMania 29 took place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The first match of the night was during the WrestleMania Pre-Show when Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett defended against The Miz. With his mother sitting front row at ringside, The Miz defeated Barrett to become the new champion. Therefore, Wade Barrett still has yet to get his first WrestleMania win. Also, Chris Jericho went one-on-one with Fandango. Fandango entered MetLife Stadium with a gaggle of gorgeous back-up dancers. While Jericho had his finishing submission hold, the Walls of Jericho, locked in, Fandango somehow managed to counter it into roll-up pin to get the 1-2-3 and pull off the upset, as well as get his first WrestleMania win. Also, Team Hell No (Kane & Daniel Bryan) defended their WWE Tag Team Championships against Mr. Money In the Bank Dolph Ziggler & Big E Langston with AJ Lee in their corner. Similar to what AJ gave Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania last year, AJ gave her beau Dolph a “good luck” kiss at the start of the match. Well, just like last year, the kiss turned out to be anything but good luck because just like Daniel lost last year, Ziggler & …
