My Thoughts on WWE Fastlane

Roman Reigns Fastlane

Fastlane Kickoff

MizTv with Special Guest Paul Heyman

Before The Miz introduced his special guest, he had his personal assistant Damien Mizdow go sit in the corner of the ring. Once Heyman came out, he told Miz that he did not like the way that Mizdow was looking at him, so Miz had Mizdow turn around and face the corner of the ring. Heyman then said that neither Roman Reigns nor Daniel Bryan will have what it takes to beat Heyman’s client and current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31. How much longer is Mizdow going to put up with this crap from Miz? When is Mizdow going to realize that he does not need Miz? Mizdow is more than capable of branching out on his own. He needs to take a stand against Miz and turn face.

My WWE Fastlane Hopes/Predictions

Fastlane Kickoff

MizTv with Special Guest Paul Heyman

The Miz will host another segment of his talk show MizTV and his special guest will be Paul Heyman. Paul Heyman will likely be giving his insight on the match between Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan, which will determine the #1 contender to Heyman’s client and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar, assuming that Lesnar is still champion by the time WrestleMania 31 takes place. Also, I think that Miz’s personal assistant Damien Mizdow will be accompanying Miz for this segment of MizTv. I hope that Mizdow finally takes a stand against his delusional boss and turns face.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match

The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) (c) vs. Cesaro & Tyson Kidd

For the past few weeks, these two teams have been going at it. At the inaugural Fastlane, Cesaro & Kidd finally get an opportunity at The Usos’ WWE Tag Team Championship. Both teams have bested each other in the weeks leading into this match; however, in the end, I think that The Usos will come out on top and remain WWE Tag Team Champions.

WWE Divas Championship Match

Nikki Bella (c) vs. Paige

Ever since Paige …

Two Successful Factions That featured Four Successful Superstars

fourhorsemen nwo-logo

What do Sting (the real Sting, not the fake Sting); Jeff Jarrett, Lex Luger and Curt Hennig all have in common? They were all, at one time or another, members of two of the most successful factions in wrestling history; The Four Horsemen and The New World Order (nWo). All four of these men have had Hall of Fame worthy careers. In addition to being a multi-time World Champion, Sting was the heart and soul of World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He has changed his looks over the years with his famous face paint and is a TNA Hall of Famer. Jeff Jarrett, who is also a multi-time World Champion, was one of the Co-Founders of Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling, along with his father Jerry Jarrett. Lex Luger is a multi-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and is famous for bodyslamming the 500-plus pound Yokozuna during his WWE tenure; he represented the United States of America against Yokozuna’s anti-American ways. The late, great Curt Hennig is a former AWA World Champion; he made a name for himself under his “Mr. Perfect” persona and is a WWE Hall of Famer. While only two of these four guys may be Hall of Famers, I …

TNA Gut Check Returns

In a TNA Gut Check Match, “The Big O” Adam Ohriner, who is currently not a part of TNA, went one-on-one with Ryan Howe, who is currently spending time down at TNA’s Developmental System Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW). While I was a fan of both these men, I decided to root for Ohriner. In the end, it was Ohriner that came out on top. But will it be enough to impress the TNA Gut Check Judges (Bruce Prichard, Al Snow, & OVW Owner “Nightmare” Danny Davis) to advance to having the opportunity to earn a TNA contract, or will Howe advance?

Mickie James Retains, Velvet Breaks Down

After weeks of ducking Velvet Sky, TNA Knockout Women’s Champion Mickie James finally had to defend her championship against Velvet, the woman who was entitled to a rematch after losing the championship to Mickie. Although Velvet was medically cleared to compete, her knee was not 100% going into this match and Mickie took full advantage of exploiting that. In the end, it all paid off when Mickie defeated Velvet to retain her championship. After the match, in an interview with ring announcer Christy Hemme, Velvet expressed her frustrations …

Impact Wrestling 6-20-13: Sting Reveals the First Member of His New Main Event Mafia

On this edition of Impact Wrestling, two significant things took place. First, the Executive In Charge of the Knockouts Brooke Hogan invited the knockouts to the ring for her “State of the Knockouts” address. First, Brooke had One Dirty Bitch & her husband Eric Young give up the TNA Knockout Women’s Tag Team Championship. Due to the fact that Eric is a man, he and his wife were never officially champions; the championships now remain vacant. Then, Brooke announced that the following week on Impact Wrestling, TNA Knockout Women’s Champion Mickie James will finally defend against Velvet Sky. Brooke also announced that Taryn Terrell and Gail Kim will go one-on-one in a Ladder Match on an upcoming edition of Impact Wrestling; whomever wins that match becomes the #1 contender to the TNA Knockout Women’s Championship. Also, the previous week on Impact Wrestling, TNA Hall of Famer Sting announced that he would be forming the new Main Event Mafia, a faction that Sting was once a member of. The first member of Sting’s new Main Event Mafia was revealed to be soon-to-be TNA Hall of Famer Kurt Angle, another guy who was once a member of the Main Event Mafia. Who …

Impact Wrestling 6-13-13: Who is the New Main Event Mafia?

The show began with General Manager Hulk Hogan telling everybody that after what had happened at the end of last week’s Impact Wrestling, Hulk gave her daughter and Knockouts Executive Brooke Hogan the night off. Hulk then went on to discuss the Bound For Glory Series; he announced that both Jeff Hardy and Bobby Roode had automatically been entered into the series, who both come out to the ring. The three men are then interrupted by Aces & Eights. TNA World Heavyweight Champion, President of The Aces & Eights, and Hulk’s estranged son-in-law Bully Ray, brings up the fact that not one member of Aces & Eights is entered into the Bound For Glory Series. Hulk then tells Bully that one member of Aces & Eights will end up qualifying by winning a Battle Royal that features only members of Aces & Eights later on in the show. Hulk also announced that next week on Impact Wrestling, it will be Open Fight Night, which allows anybody on the TNA roster to call out anybody and that person is required to fight. Hulk then said that the TNA Fans will get to vote on whether Jeff Hardy or Bobby Roode get …

TNA Slammiversary XI: New Champions, Kurt Angle Hall of Fame Bound, Bully Ray Retains World Championship

Slammiversary XI marked the 11th anniversary of TNA. New champions were crowned, the TNA Hall of Fame 2013 Inductee was revealed, and one champion retained his championship. In a 3-Way Ultimate X Match, Kenny King defended his X Division Championship against both Chris Sabin and Suicide. In the end, it was Sabin who climbed across the X-shaped ropes above the wrestling ring to grab the championship belt and become the new X Division Champion. Just like last year, the X Division Champion will get to trade in his championship in exchange for an opportunity at the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at the upcoming Pay-Per-View event, Destination X. Austin Aries was successful last year, can Sabin be just as successful? In a 6-Man Tag Team Match, the team of Samoa Joe, Brutus Magnus, and the returning Jeff Hardy defeated Aces & Eights members Ken Anderson, Garett Bischoff, & Wes Brisco. Also, in the Gut Check tournament final, Jay Bradley defeated Sam Shaw to earn a spot in the upcoming Bound For Glory Series, which will determine who will challenge for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at TNA’s biggest show of the year, Bound For Glory IX this year. Also, Aces & …

Impact Wrestling 5-23-13: AJ Styles Stands Alone?

The show began with General Manager Hulk Hogan coming out to discuss the No Holds Barred TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match between Champion and the President of Aces & Eights Bully Ray and Challenger and TNA Hall of Famer Sting at the upcoming Slammiversary Pay-Per-View event. Hogan then has Sting come out; he then reminds Sting about the fact that he agreed that if he didn’t beat Bully Ray then he would never get another opportunity at the championship again for the rest of his career. While Hogan tried to persuade Sting into not going through with it, Sting made it clear that his mind was made up. Then, Hulk’s daughter and Knockouts Executive Brooke Hogan comes out and tells Hulk and Sting that she feels that neither one of them is at fault for all the power that Aces & Eights have gained, but that she is at fault because she was the one that fell for her estranged husband Bully Ray. Brooke was then about to resign as Knockouts Executive because she felt that it was best for TNA, but before she could, her father cuts her off before she does something she may regret. Bully Ray then …

Impact Wrestling 5-16-13: Sting’s Last World Championship Opportunity?

The Show began with General Manager Hulk Hogan coming out to call out Abyss and thank him for returning last week and aiding TNA in the war against Aces & Eights; however, Abyss’ brother Joseph Park came out instead. Park then tells Hogan how ecstatic he is that his brother is back because he has been looking for him for a long time. They then get interrupted by Aces & Eights members TNA Television Champion Devon & D’Lo Brown. Park then goes on to tell Devon that he has had of enough of The Aces & Eights’ actions and challenges Devon to a match. Devon responds by telling Park that until he proves something to him, he refuses to face him. D’Lo then offers to fight Park and prove a point so that he can earn back his Aces & Eights vest. Hogan then decides to make the match official for the evening and says that if Park wins, then he’ll get to face Devon in a non-title match at the upcoming Slammiversary Pay-Per-View event. Also, TNA Knockouts Executive Brooke Hogan told Mickie James that she will get an opportunity at Velvet Sky’s TNA Knockout Women’s Championship next week on …

Impact Wrestling 5-9-13: Abyss Returns

The show began with TNA Hall of Famer Sting and Kurt Angle coming out to get AJ Styles’ answer of whether or not he would team with them to take on Aces & Eights members TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray, TNA Television Champion Devon, & Ken Anderson later in the main event of the evening. AJ Styles comes out, then Angle asked him if he was in or out. When AJ wouldn’t answer, Angle started to lose his patience. Sting calmed Angle down and then tried to get through to AJ by reminding him of who he was, but when AJ still wouldn’t answer, Angle once again got in AJ’s face, but AJ took off. However, Angle was in hot pursuit of AJ and the two then got into a brawl at the entrance ramp. Then, with Sting distracted by the brawl, Bully Ray, Devon, & Anderson sneak attack Sting. Afterwards, TNA cameras caught up with AJ backstage and asked him if he was in or out, but AJ once again refused to answer and stormed out of the building. After doing that, it could only be assumed that AJ was out; therefore, Sting and Angle still needed to …

Impact Wrestling 5-2-13: Sting Is the New #1 Contender

The show began with General Manager Hulk Hogan calling out TNA Hall of Famer Sting to apologize for not accepting his help in the ongoing war between TNA and Aces & Eights. The two shook hands and then Sting asked Hulk for his permission to put together a Six-Man Tag Team Match between three of TNA’s best against three members of Aces & Eights for next week on Impact Wrestling, which Hulk agreed to. Then, Hulk started discussing the next #1 contender to the President of The Aces & Eights Bully Ray’s TNA World Heavyweight Championship, but before he can go any further, Matt Morgan comes out and complains about the fact that he thinks he’s just gonna hand Sting the #1 contendership. Hulk then explains to Morgan that nothing is going to be handed out anymore and that everything must be earned. With that being said, Hulk made a #1 contenders’ match between Sting and Morgan for the main event of the evening and the winner would go on to face Bully Ray for his championship at the upcoming Slammiversary Pay-Per-View event. Also, in a Three-Way X Division Match to determine the #1 contender to Kenny King’s X Division …

Impact Wrestling 4-25-13: Sting Returns

The show began with James Storm coming out giving credit to AJ Styles, who was standing amongst the crowd in attendance, for defeating him last week on Impact Wrestling. Storm then addressed The Aces & Eights attacking him after the match and then dared them to come out and fight. Instead, he gets interrupted by Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian). Bad Influence then addresses the fact that they were attacked by Aces & Eights as well the previous week and that they think that they should reform the faction known as Fortune, in which Styles, Storm, Daniels, and Kazarian were once members of, and take down The Aces & Eights. While AJ left everybody with more questions than answers, like he has been for the past number of weeks, Storm made it clear that he had no interest in reforming Fortune when he decided to fight them instead of Aces & Eights, since they wouldn’t come out. Unfortunately, the numbers’ game caught up with Storm and Bad Influence left him lying in the ring in the end. Then, Aces & Eights come out to pick up the scraps, but then, Joseph Park comes to Storm’s aid. Park is …

Impact Wrestling 3-28-13: The Issues Continue

It was Open Fight Night on this edition of Impact Wrestling, meaning that anyone could call anyone out and that person would have to answer. Right before Jeff Hardy could call someone out, he was interrupted by Aces & Eights. Then, Aces & Eights member Mr. Anderson started to talk smack to Hardy, which led to physicality between Aces & Eights and members of the TNA locker room. After the dust had settled, Jeff Hardy had challenged Anderson to a match later on in the main event. Speaking of Jeff Hardy, General Manager Hulk Hogan told Hardy that he could choose the stipulation for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship match when Hardy challenges champion and President of Aces & Eights Bully Ray in two weeks on Impact Wrestling. Also, Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez called out Bad Influnce and annouced that Hulk Hogan said that whichever team got the win would be the #1 contenders to TNA World Tag Team Champions Bobby Roode & Austin Aries. Chavo & Hernandez got the win, thus becoming the #1 contenders. Also, after security prevented TNA Hall of Famer Sting from entering Hogan’s office, Sting decided to call out Hogan. Hogan answered the challenge and …

Impact Wrestling 3-21-13: Bully Ray Reveals All

On this edition of Impact Wrestling, TNA World Heavyweight Champion and President of Aces & Eights Bully Ray told the whole story behind his 9-month plan to get to where he is right now. Basically, it was all about manipulating the people he used and brainwashing his fellow Aces & Eights members. Also, General Manager Hulk Hogan said that he felt there were four guys in the TNA locker room that really stepped up against Aces & Eights last week and he had them come out to the ring. These four guys were Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, and Magnus. After they were all in the ring, Jeff Hardy proposed an idea to Hogan. That idea was that Hogan put Joe, Angle, Magnus, and Hardy himself in a fatal 4-way match to determine the #1 contender to Bully Ray’s championship and Hulk agreed. Jeff Hardy ended up emerging victorious, thus becoming the #1 contender. Also, a few new twists have been added to the X Division. These twists are that the new weight limit is 230lbs., that every X Division Championship match will now be a triple threat match, that whichever competitor in that match ends up getting pinned …

Impact Wrestling 3-14-13 Review

The show was supposed to begin with a TNA World Tag Team Championship Match between Champions Bobby Roode & Austin Aries and Challengers Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez, but just as Guerrero & Hernandez entered the ring, out of nowhere comes Aces & Eights and attacks them. The match never ends up taking place and Aces & Eights then introduce the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion and President of Aces & Eights, Bully Ray. Bully Ray revealed to the entire world that for the past 9 months, everybody had bought into the ruse that Bully Ray was against Aces & Eights, but was actually the President of Aces & Eights all along (the higher power). Bully Ray then dared General Manager Hulk Hogan to fire each and every member of Aces & Eights. Also, in a Knockouts Tag Team Match, it was TNA Knockout Women’s Champion Velvet Sky & the returning Mickie James taking on Gail Kim & Tara. During the match, it was revealed that Knockouts Referee Taryn Terrell had been put on probation after getting physical with Gail Kim this past Sunday at Lockdown. At one point in the match, Gail Kim exploited that by face-shoving Taryn to the …
