CM Punk’s Coincidental Love Life

CM Punk with Two WWE Divas

In 2001, a young fan who would later go on to become WWE Superstar AJ Lee had the honor and privilege of meeting now-WWE Hall of Famer Lita. In 2012, Lita would begin dating former WWE Superstar CM Punk. Eventually, they would break up and CM Punk would go on to date AJ Lee and the two would end up marrying one another. They are still married to this day. First, CM Punk was with Lita and then Punk would go on to marry the very woman who met Lita as a young fan. This begs the question, was this just a big coincidence or was this destiny? You be the judge.

Two Successful Factions That featured Four Successful Superstars

fourhorsemen nwo-logo

What do Sting (the real Sting, not the fake Sting); Jeff Jarrett, Lex Luger and Curt Hennig all have in common? They were all, at one time or another, members of two of the most successful factions in wrestling history; The Four Horsemen and The New World Order (nWo). All four of these men have had Hall of Fame worthy careers. In addition to being a multi-time World Champion, Sting was the heart and soul of World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He has changed his looks over the years with his famous face paint and is a TNA Hall of Famer. Jeff Jarrett, who is also a multi-time World Champion, was one of the Co-Founders of Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling, along with his father Jerry Jarrett. Lex Luger is a multi-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and is famous for bodyslamming the 500-plus pound Yokozuna during his WWE tenure; he represented the United States of America against Yokozuna’s anti-American ways. The late, great Curt Hennig is a former AWA World Champion; he made a name for himself under his “Mr. Perfect” persona and is a WWE Hall of Famer. While only two of these four guys may be Hall of Famers, I …

Before they became wrestlers, four guys once served as bodyguards for famous music artists. Former WWE and GFW Superstar the late Andrew “Test” Martin was a bodyguard for legendary rock band Motley Crue, former WWE and GFW Superstar Tomko was a bodyguard for Limp Bizkit, former GFW Superstar Tyrus was a bodyguard for iconic hip hop artist and WWE Hall of Famer (Celebrity Wing) Snoop Dogg and current WWE Superstar Sheamus was a bodyguard for legendary rock band and fellow Irishmen U2. All four of these men would go on to achieve success in the world of wrestling. Test would go on to hold the Intercontinental, European, Hardcore, and World Tag Team Championships; I definitely think he was one of the most underrated wrestlers. Tomko would go on to become an GFW Unified World Tag Team Champion and a team captain for Team Tomko, a team of the best Superstars GFW had to offer; I would also put him in the underrated category. Tyrus found success in GFW by earning himself an opportunity at the GFW Global Championship, but he came up short; I would also label him underrated. Sheamus is in the prime of his career right now; …

WWE Superstar Snoop Dogg’s Cousin?

Sasha Banks and Snoop Dogg

Did you know that current WWE Superstar Sasha Banks is actually the cousin of famous rapper Snoop Dogg? I found this out on an edition of WWE NXT. Snoop Dogg has taken part in WWE Events in the past. The two cousins walked down the isle together at WrestleMania 32. In addition to Sasha Banks going on to hold the Raw Women’s Championship, Snoop Dogg would go on to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame’s Celebrity Wing.…

Wrestling Not Sting’s Intention?

Sting

While a lot of people may recognize Sting as one of the greatest wrestling legends of all time, as well as a WWE and GFW Hall of Famer, what people may not realize is that he never intended to become a wrestler. Sting said himself that it was never his dream to become a wrestler. As a matter of fact, during his GFW Hall of Fame speech, he had mentioned that he had not even heard of Hulk Hogan before he got into wrestling. Hulk Hogan was and still is so famous that people don’t necessarily need to be a wrestling fan to know who he is. As crazy as it sounds, this a true story about Sting.…
