Kaitlyn Turns the Tables On AJ Lee

WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee (accompanied by Big E Langston) went one-on-one with Natalya Neidhart in a non-title match. Right when the match officially got under way, AJ’s theme music hit and it was none other than Kaitlyn coming out dressed as AJ, similar to what AJ did to Kaitlyn on Raw the previous Monday. Kaitlyn then went on to ridicule her former BFF by telling everybody that in addition to the vast number of superstars AJ has been intimate with, there are rumors that she has been intimate with several of the WWE personnel that were seated at ringside, including Smackdown ring announcer Lilian Garcia. After AJ and Natalya began locking up with one another, Kaitlyn, at one point, began to skip around ringside in typical AJ fashion, which not only drove AJ insane, but provided enough of a distraction to allow Natalya to roll up AJ to get the pin and the win. After the match, Kaitlyn put the exclamation point on her mind games by hitting AJ with her signature maneuver “The Spear”.

Other Money In the Bank Ladder Match Announced

Backstage, WWE Chairman and CEO Vincent K. McMahon approached the Senior Advisor to the Smackdown General Manager (WWE Hall of Famer Booker T) Teddy Long, who is in charge of Smackdown while Booker is recovering from surgery, and reminded Teddy that the WWE Championship Contract Money In the Bank Ladder Match is set to take place at the upcoming WWE event, Money In the Bank. Mr. McMahon then asked Teddy what his plans are for the World Heavyweight Championship Contract Money In the Bank Ladder Match. Teddy then told Mr. McMahon that the match would be all about the future of the WWE. He then announced that the participants for the match would be United States Champion and Shield leader Dean Ambrose, Wade Barrett, both halves of Team Rhodes Scholars (Damien Sandow & Cody Rhodes), Jack Swagger, Antonio Cesaro, and Fandango. Now, while agree with Teddy focusing on the future of WWE, I don’t agree with the participants he has chosen for the match because they are all heels. We need some faces in this match (e.g., both halves of Team Co-Bro (Santino Marella & Zack Ryder), both halves of Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay & Tensai), Yoshi Tatsu, Alex Riley, both halves of International Air-Strike (Justin Gabriel & Tyson Kidd), NXT Champion Bo Dallas, Sami Zayne, Ted DiBiase, Jr., R-Truth, Sin Cara, Evan Bourne, Kofi Kingston).

Did Daniel Bryan Intentionally Cost Kane?

During the match between Randy Orton and Kane, Daniel Bryan was on commentary at ringside. I am fans of both Orton and Kane and I was not sure who to root for in this one. Daniel Bryan claimed that he was out there to support Kane; however, at one point, while Kane was outside the ring, Bryan left the announcers’ table to help Kane back into the ring, but Kane ended up walking right into Orton’s signature maneuver “The RKO” and Orton followed it up with the pin and the win. After the match, Kane was none too happy with Bryan, who walked off with sort of a smile on his face while saying “I’m Sorry”. Did Bryan intend to cost Kane the match or not? There are more questions than answers at this moment.

Fiesta Del Rio Gets Shown Up

New World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio (accompanied by his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez) celebrated by throwing Fiesta Del Rio, complete with food, balloons, a mariachi band, and a pinata with the former champion Dolph Ziggler’s head on it. At one point, Del Rio took a stick and whacked the pinata with Ziggler’s head on it, comparing it to the way he attacked Ziggler’s recently concussed head during their championship match and saying that the same thing will happen when they have their championship rematch at Money In the Bank. Then, Del Rio decides to call out Ziggler; Ziggler answers the call and a brawl between the two ensues. After Ziggler gains the upper hand, he grabs a mariachi guitar from the corner and looks to use it on Del Rio, but Del Rio runs out of the ring and through the crowd. Ricardo Rodriguez , who was put through a table by Ziggler moments ago, is left alone in the ring with Ziggler. After Rodriguez recovers, Ziggler whacks Ricardo right across the face with the guitar. Afterwards, Ziggler celebrates with the mariachi band to end the program.
