WWE Smackdown 4-5-13: Last Minute WrestleMania 29 Momentum

The show began with Ryback facing Primo & Epico in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match with Ryback finishing the team off by hitting them with double Shell Shocked, his finishing maneuver. Can Ryback do the same thing to Mark Henry this Sunday at WrestleMania? Also, Team Rhodes Scholars and The Bella Twins came out dressed as their WrestleMania opponents (Tons of Funk & The Funkadactyls) mocking them. This did not sit well with Tons of Funk & The Funkadactyls as they came out and got into brawl with their WrestleMania opponents for this Sunday. Tons of Funk & The Funkadactyls ended up clearing the ring of their opponents and standing tall. Will they be standing tall after their match at WrestleMania as well? Finally, in the main event, Kofi Kingston went one-on-one with #1 contender to the World Heavyweight Championship Jack Swagger. Thanks to a distraction by Zeb Colter, Swagger was able to defeat Kofi with his finishing maneuver, the Patriot Act. This was the final Smackdown before WrestleMania this Sunday. Will the momentum that some of the superstars gained on this edition of Smackdown pay off come WrestleMania this Sunday? Only time will tell.
