WWE Screwed Up With Ryback’s Character

I truly feel that WWE took Ryback’s character in the wrong direction. In 2012, his character developed a huge fan base. He went undefeated for most of that year, he had the whole crowd chanting “Feed Me More”, he was featured in high-profile and main event matches, and became extremely close to making it to the top of the mountain. WWE had everything going for Ryback. That is until 2013; they decided to turn him into a heel. From that point on, WWE not only made significant changes to his character, but he slowly began to drift further and further away from making it to the top throughout that whole year. By the time 2013 was coming to a close, he had only been competing in mid-card tag team matches with his tag team partner Curtis Axel. WWE still continues to use Ryback’s character in this sort of fashion to this day and Rybaxel (Ryback & Axel’s tag team name) have won very few matches since teaming up together. Bottom line, Ryback’s character had everything going and just like that, WWE decides to change it up; they should have just left his character the way it was because it was working. WWE not only needs to realize this, but they need to fix this, as well.
