My Hopes for WWE in 2017

New WWE Logo

  1. Paige and Nia Jax develop a rivalry with one another.

  1. Finn Balor regains the WWE Universal Championship that he never lost.

  1. Bayley wins the Raw Women’s Championship

  1. Becky Lynch becomes the first-ever 2-time SmackDown Women’s Champion in history.

  1. The identity of La Luchadora is revealed.

  1. Naomi wins the SmackDown Women’s Championship

  1. The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) turn face, use their old theme music and sport their war face paint again.

  1. NXT (WWE’s developmental system) Superstar Hideo Itami gets moved up to WWE’s main roster.

  1. Ember Moon wins the NXT Women’s Championship.

  1. Crooked (heel) announcers (e.g., Corey Graves, John “Bradshaw” Layfield, Austin Aries and Marcelo Rodriguez) are relieved of their announcing duties. All they ever do is say predictable stuff, set bad examples for young ones, disrupt wrestling matches and hog the spotlight.

  1. CM Punk returns to WWE as a face.

  1. Kofi Kingston wins the WWE Universal Championship.

  1. Sami Zayn wins the United States Championship.

  1. Zack Ryder regains the Intercontinental Championship that he was screwed out of.

  1. WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan returns to WWE as a face.

  1. The United Kingdom Championship and the United Kingdom Division is exclusive to SmackDown Live since the WWE Cruiserweight Championship and the Cruiserweight Division is exclusive to Raw.

  1. Brie Bella becomes a competitor again and wins either the Raw/SmackDown Women’s Championship.

  1. Have the Slammy Awards for the year that was 2016.

  1. WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering turns face because people from any kind of Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame should have a respectable role in wrestling and I do not feel that they have that role if they are portrayed as heels.

  1. WWE starts live streaming Main Event on WWE Network again, as well as add En Espanol to WWE Network. Also, while past episodes of the original ECW are available to watch on WWE Network, past episodes of WWE’s ECW are not. I hope that WWE adds that to WWE Network.
