Fatal 4-Way WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match
Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan vs. John Cena
Brock Lesnar walked into the 2015 Royal Rumble event as WWE World Heavyweight Champion and he walked out as champion. Also, Roman Reigns won the Royal Rumble Match; therefore, the main event for WrestleMania 31 is set to be Brock Lesnar defending his championship against Roman Reigns. There are many people that want to see Daniel Bryan in that match, however; also, John Cena is WWE’s top dog, so he has all the qualifications to be in that match as well. Therefore, in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, both Bryan and Cena would manage to land spots in that match and would therefore become a Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. As far as who I would want to win that match, there is part of me that wants to see Roman Reigns win his first-ever World Championship, but there is also part of me that wants to see Daniel Bryan regain the championship that he was strategically stripped of by The Authority.
Winner Gets Full Control
Sting vs. WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H
At Survivor Series 2013, WCW icon Sting made a very memorable WWE debut when he played a crucial role in putting Authority leaders WWE Principal Owner Stephanie McMahon & her husband Triple H out of power. Eventually, however, they were brought back into power under controversial circumstances. The power couple wasted no time in throwing their weight around when they bogusly fired Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan. When John Cena got an opportunity to win back their jobs, Sting made his very first Raw appearance and helped Cena get the win and the jobs of the three fired superstars back. After foiling his plans twice, Triple H is planning on calling out Sting at the upcoming WWE Pay-Per-View, the inaugural Fast Lane. When that happens, I am hoping that Sting and Triple H will agree to face each other in a match at WrestleMania 31. The stipulation of the match would be that the winner gets full control; therefore, if Sting were to win, he would take over the positions of power that Stephanie and her husband currently hold, The Authority would be gone for good and have no way of getting back into power whatsoever. Sting did a good job running TNA and I think he can do as good of a job running WWE. I hope this all happens at WrestleMania because The Authority belongs out of power.
The Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt
In the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, Bray Wyatt would call out The Undertaker and would say that since The Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak was conquered the previous year at WrestleMania, he is no longer immortal like Bray Wyatt is, at least in his own mind. This would eventually lead The Undertaker to make his return and the two eerie superstars would agree to a match at WrestleMania 31. This would definitely be a great match for The Undertaker to prove that he has still got it. He will also show Bray Wyatt that The Undertaker always has been and always will be the true master of mind games.
Randy Orton vs. Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins
A few weeks before Survivor Series 2013, The Authority had turned on Randy Orton. At that moment, Rollins had Curb Stomped Orton’s head onto the steel steps, which resulted in him being stretchered out of the arena and he has not been seen or heard from since. In the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, Randy Orton would make his return and set his sights on the very man who took him out of action. This would all lead to a match between these two at WrestleMania. I hope to see this match happen, so that Orton can get his much-deserved retribution by beating Rollins on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
United States Championship Match
Rusev (c) vs. Ryback
Rusev has yet to be pinned or submitted on the main roster. Men like Big E, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry and Big Show have all attempted to hand Rusev his first pinfall/submission loss on the main roster, but all have come up short in doing so. At Fast Lane, Rusev will face John Cena in a non-title match. Regardless of the outcome of the match, I want to see Rusev defend his championship against Ryback at WrestleMania. Ryback has shown that he has what it takes to conquer The Bulgarian Brute and at WrestleMania, I hope that he does exactly that, wins his first championship from WWE and gets his WrestleMania moment.
Intercontinental Championship Match
Bad News Barrett (c) vs. Zack Ryder
Zack Ryder made his return at the 2015 Royal Rumble event after being sidelined with an injury. Back in 2011, Ryder started this thing called the “Ryder Revolution”; this led him to winning his first major singles championship from WWE, the United States Championship. Weeks later, he would lose the championship under controversial circumstances. Since then, he has gotten very few opportunities to get back in the championship picture. I truly believe that WWE rewarded Ryder for all of his hard work and dedication and then took it all away from him in an instant, which is complete bull. Zack Ryder should definitely get the opportunity to get back what was taken from him and face BNB for the Intercontinental Championship. I hope that Ryder would beat BNB for the championship and finally get his WrestleMania moment. This could potentially be the comeback story of 2015. Bottom line, WWE took something away from the WWE Universe that was very special and they need to give it back.
Triple Threat WWE Divas Championship Match
Nikki Bella (c) vs. Naomi vs. Brie Bella
The Bella Twins had recently reunited with one another. I have said this before and I will say it again, what really bothers me about this is the fact that prior to their reunion, Nikki had mistreated her sister for months and has shown no indications of regret about it ever since. Yet, despite all that, Nikki got off scot-free and Brie is now reunited with her evil sister. Nikki has taken everything that Brie has worked for right from underneath her and the worst part, Brie is letting her. Brie needs to take a stand and finally make her sister face up to everything that she has put Brie through. I truly believe that Brie should be the top face in the divas’ division, but instead, she is aligned with the division’s top heel, her sister Nikki. Also, there is one very athletic diva on the roster who has yet to hold the WWE Divas Championship, that being Naomi. In the weeks leading up to WrestleMania, Brie would finally make her stand and Naomi would get herself into title contention. This would all lead to a Triple Threat Match for the Divas Championship at WrestleMania. As far as the outcome of the match, there is part of me that wants to see Naomi win her first-ever WWE Divas Championship; however, there is also a part of me that wants to see Brie get her revenge on her sister and walk out of WrestleMania as Divas Champion. In addition to that, part of me also wants to see Brie and her husband Daniel Bryan stand in the middle of the ring together after winning their two respective championships; thus ending WrestleMania 31 with Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella as WWE’s newest power couple.
Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
Last year at WrestleMania, it was the inaugural Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. This battle royal was dedicated to the memory of the late great WWE Hall of Famer Andre the Giant. The winner of this match would receive the Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy, which was won by Cesaro. I hope that WrestleMania continues to have this match every year. The participants that I hope to see in this year’s match include Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan, The New Day (Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston & Big E), Darren Young, Alex Riley, Los Matadores (Diego & Fernando), The Boogeyman, Diamond Dallas Page, Dean Ambrose, Chris Jericho, Rob Van Dam, Sin Cara, Hunico, Jack Swagger, WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler, R-Truth, Rey Mysterio and Sheamus. The person that I would want to win the match is Kofi Kingston because he has accomplished just about everything in WWE except win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. I truly believe that this would help launch Kofi into that contention.
Pre-Show WWE Tag Team Championship Match
The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) (c) vs. The Dudleys (Bubba Ray & D-Von) vs. The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor)
The Usos are the current WWE Tag Team Champions and the greatest tag team in WWE today. At the 2015 Royal Rumble event, Bubba Ray Dudley made a surprise appearance. Bubba Ray Dudley is one-half of one of WWE’s greatest tag teams of all time, The Dudleys, along with D-Von Dudley. In a recent WWE.com exclusive interview with Bubba Ray, he talked about the possibility of The Dudleys getting back inside a WWE ring. Also, there is a new tag team that recently arrived on the main roster, that being The Ascension. Since arriving on the main roster, The Ascension have yet to be beaten, they have shown zero respect towards legendary tag teams of the past and you got to know that they have their sights set on the WWE Tag Team Championship. All of this would lead to a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship between the tag teams of yesterday, today and tomorrow at WrestleMania. I would hope that The Usos come out on top, retain their championship and prove to everybody that they are in fact today’s top tag team in WWE.
