My WrestleMania 30 Thoughts/Predictions Part 1

WrestleMania 30

Pre-Show Fatal 4-Way WWE Tag Team Championship Match

The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) (C)

Vs.

Los Matadores (Diego & Fernando) (w/ El Torito)

Vs.

Rybaxel (Ryback & Curtis Axel)

Vs.

The Real Americans (Jack Swagger & Cesaro) (w/ Zeb Colter)

This will without a doubt be the toughest championship defense for The Usos to date. Despite the odds being stacked against them, The Usos have only held the championship for about a month now; therefore, I do not think that The Usos are going to let their championships go anytime soon, especially on the Grandest Stage of Them All, WrestleMania. While I am rooting for The Usos to win, if Los Matadores end up walking out the new WWE Tag Team Champions, I will be happy for them. As long as neither Rybaxel nor The Real Americans walk out as champions, I will be satisfied. Also, this will mark the first-ever WrestleMania match for both Axel and Cesaro.

The Vickie Guerrero WWE Divas Championship Invitational

AJ Lee (C) defends against Eva Marie, Emma, Cameron, Naomi, Brie Bella, Nikki Bella, Natalya, Rosa Mendes, Aksana, Layla, Alicia Fox, Summer Rae and Tamina Snuka

For the first time ever, the WWE Divas Championship will be on the line at WrestleMania. Smackdown General Manager Vickie Guerrero has definitely stacked the odds against AJ. I am 100% convinced that AJ’s longest reign as WWE Divas Champion will come to an end this Sunday at WrestleMania. As far as who will become the new champion, there is part of me that is hoping that it will be Eva Marie since she has never had an opportunity at any championship whatsoever in her entire career. On the other hand, there is also part of me that is hoping that it will be Brie Bella and I will explain why in part two of this article. As long as one of the faces wins, I will be satisfied. Also, this will mark the first-ever WrestleMania match for Eva Marie, Emma, Cameron, Naomi, Aksana, Summer Rae, Tamina and AJ.

6-Man Tag Team Match

The Shield (current United States Champion Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns)

Vs.

WWE Director of Operations Kane & The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg & Billy Gunn)

Based on recent events that I have been witnessing, I am convinced that The Shield has turned face, as well as end their alliance with The Authority. Last year at WrestleMania, all three members of The Shield had their first-ever WrestleMania match in a 6-Man Tag Team Match against a trio of former World Champions in Randy Orton, Sheamus, and The Big Show. The Shield showed that they are for real when they defeated the trio. This year will be no different; The Shield will go 2-0 at this year’s WrestleMania.

The 30-Superstar, Over-the-Top-Rope Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

The participants in this match include Dolph Ziggler, current Intercontinental Champion Big E, Fandango, Alberto Del Rio, Damien Sandow, Titus O’Neil, Christian, Sheamus, Big Show, Mark Henry, Heath Slater, Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre, Cody Rhodes, Goldust, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Brodus Clay, Darren Young, Justin Gabriel, Rey Mysterio, R-Truth, Santino Marella, The Great Khali, Zack Ryder, Sin Cara, Raw General Manager Brad Maddox and three other participants yet-to-be-named

This Battle Royal will be dedicated to the memory of the late, great WWE Hall of Famer Andre the Giant. 30 Superstars will compete in the ring all at once, vying for the Andre the Giant Memorial Trophy. The obvious favorite heading into this match is Big Show because let’s face it; he is the only current WWE Superstar that is close to resembling Andre. At least for the time-being, I hope Sin Cara will end up winning because he has never held any championship or title from WWE. On the other hand, there are parts of me that are hoping that either Kofi Kingston or Zack Ryder will win because Kofi is way overdue for a WrestleMania moment and after the way things went for Ryder the last time he competed at WrestleMania, he deserves to get some retribution. As for the three remaining spots, guys like Jason Albert, Tyson Kidd, Evan Bourne, Alex Riley, Yoshi Tatsu, Mason Ryan, Ezekiel Jackson, Xavier Woods, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler would be great potential options. Also, this will mark the first-ever WrestleMania match for Damien Sandow, Titus O’Neil, Jinder Mahal, Brodus Clay, Darren Young, Sin Cara, Brad Maddox and perhaps the still-yet-to-be-named three participants, depending on who they end up being.
