On this edition of Smackdown, there were a few superstars who had homecomings when Smackdown emanated from the United Kingdom in London, England at the O2 Arena. For instance, it was a great homecoming for London native Layla El when she defeated Aksana. Also, there were two more homecomings when two of England’s own, William Regal and Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett, went one-on-one in a non-title match with Barrett coming out on top. Finally, in the main event, The Undertaker competed on Smackdown for the first time in nearly three years when he went one-on-one with Shield leader Dean Ambrose (accompanied by fellow Shield cohorts Seth Rollins & Roman Reigns). The good news is that The Undertaker beat Ambrose, the bad news is that The Shield gave Undertaker a post-match attack. In the end, The Shield drove The Undertaker threw the announcers’ table with their patented Triple-Power Bomb maneuver to end the program.
