The show began with Tons of Funk taking on The Primetime Players, a match that was made last week by Saturday Morning Slam General Manager and soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley. The Primetime Players used some underhanded tactics to get the victory; however, Mick Foley came out and said that he feels the match should be restarted, but he realized that a referee’s decision is final. So instead, Foley booked a rematch between the two teams and said that the match would take place right there and now. Tons of Funk ended up coming out on top in the rematch. I thought what Mick Foley did was pretty clever. He knew that there was highway robbery involved in that tag team match and wanted to restart the match because of it; however, as stated above, he realized that a referee’s decision is final, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t book a rematch and name the time and the place for it; Foley did just that.
