The show began with Smackdown General Manager Booker T naming the General Manger of Saturday Morning Slam. The General Manager of Saturday Morning Slam is soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley. While Foley was giving his speech, he was interrupted by WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan stated his case of he why should have been named GM and was wondering why he wasn’t. Foley responded by telling him that it might have to do a little with his unresolved anger issues. Bryan denied that he had anger issues and then Foley told him that he might consider him to be the Assistant General Manager of Saturday Morning Slam. Then, Mr. Money In the Bank Dolph Ziggler, AJ Lee, and Big E Langston interrupted. Both Dolph and AJ then stated their cases of why they should have been named Co-General Managers of Saturday Morning Slam. Then, as his first act as GM, Mick Foley made a one-on-one match-up between Ziggler and Bryan, which Bryan was victorious in. Then, in the main event, Brodus Clay & Tensai took on Primo & Epico with Clay & Tensai coming out on top. I think Mick Foley was a good choice for GM of Saturday Morning Slam because it is a show intended for kids and Mick Foley is the author of numerous children’s books.
