The show began with Justin Gabriel going one-on-one with his former friend Leo Kruger with Kruger coming out on top. Also, Yoshi Tatsu went one-on-one with Bray Wyatt (accompanied by Erick Rowan and Luke Harper) with Wyatt coming out on top. Wyatt then gave a post-match attack to Tatsu followed by sharing some strange and disturbing words with the WWE Universe. Also, during an interview with Renee Young, Paige challenged Summer Rae to a one-on-one match next week on NXT, which lead to Summer jumping Paige from behind and accepting the challenge. Also, Bayley went one-on-one with Emma with Emma coming out on top. Finally, there was the main event Lumberjack Match between Corey Graves and Shield member Seth Rollins. While I am not a fan of either one of these guys, I was rooting against Rollins. In the end, despite the fact that Rollins gave his Shield cohorts Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns the night off, the two of them show up and not only take out the Lumberjacks, but Ambrose also decks Corey Graves (unbeknownst to the ref) which allows Rollins to pick up the victory. Overall, this wasn’t one of the better editions of NXT because all of our heroes were left lying in the end and it was pretty much going to be a lose-lose situation for the WWE Universe no matter who would have come out victorious in that Lumberjack Match. Pretty much, the only saving grace about that match is the fact that we got to see two heels beat the hell out of one another. Well, hopefully next week’s edition will be more better.
