WWE Main Event 3-13-13 Review

The first match of the night was World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio going one-on-one with The Big Show in a non-title match. During the match, Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter came out to observe. At one point, after Del Rio got thrown out of the ring, Jack Swagger clipped Del Rio in the leg from behind while the ref’s back was turned. Del Rio tried to get back in the ring before the count of ten, but his leg was just too damaged and Big Show got the win via countout. The second match was between The Usos and 3MB members Heath Slater & Drew McIntyre. McIntyre did not come into the match at 100% due to his attack by both Ryback and Mark Henry this past Monday on Raw, he had his ribs taped up. Unfortunately for 3MB, it was just too much for them to overcome and The Usos got the victory. In the main event, Intercontinental Champion Wade Barrett went one-on-one in a non-title match against both former Nexus and Corre cohort Justin Gabriel. Gabriel nearly pulled off the upset, but in the end, Barrett caught Gabriel with his finishing maneuver, the Bull Hammer Elbow, to get the victory. Only one match went the way I wanted to go and that was the tag team match.
