My Royal Rumble Hopes/Predictions

Kickoff Match

The New Day (Xavier Woods, Kofi Kingston & Big E) vs. Adam Rose, Cesaro & Tyson Kidd

The trio of Adam Rose, Cesaro & Tyson Kidd has formed an alliance with one another under the common purpose of feeling that WWE keeps overlooking them. While they may have a good argument for that, I personally feel that all three members of The New Day are being overlooked as well. Instead of being bitter and complaining about it like Rose, Cesaro & Kidd do, however, The New Day is spreading the positive message that as individuals, they are great, but together, they can be even better. Not only do I hope that The New Day comes out victorious in this match, but I hope that all three members of The New Day end up being participants in the Royal Rumble Match as well.

Paige & Natalya vs. The Bella Twins (WWE Divas Champion Nikki & Brie)

Paige & Natalya have recently formed an alliance against common enemies The Bella Twins. All four of these divas are current star cast members of WWE reality show Total Divas. One particular thing that has been bothering me about the recent reunion of The Bella Twins is the fact that Brie is letting her sister get off scot-free after months of Nikki mistreating her prior to their reunion and the fact that Nikki has not shown any indications of regret about it whatsoever. Therefore, not only do I hope that Paige & Natalya beat The Bellas, but I also hope that Brie turns face and finally makes her evil sister face up to all the things that she has put Brie, as well as some others, through.

The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg & Billy Gunn) vs. The Ascension (Konnor & Victor)

The Ascension recently made their debut on the main roster after dominating NXT. Since arriving on the main roster, The Ascension has shown zero respect towards legendary tag teams of the past. This caught the attention of The New Age Outlaws, who are multiple-time Tag Teams Champions together and one of The Attitude Era’s greatest tag teams. I hope that The Outlaws teach The Ascension a lesson in respect, get the victory and prove to the entire world that The Outlaws still got it.

WWE Tag Team Championship

The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) (C) vs. The Miz & Damien Mizdow

The Usos recently beat Miz & Mizdow to become 2-time WWE Tag Team Champions. At the Royal Rumble event, Miz & Mizdow get their rematch. The Miz, a self-proclaimed A-list movie star, acquired Mizdow as his “stunt double” last year. Since then, Mizdow has mimicked every single move that The Miz makes including moves that are at Miz’s expense. Mizdow seems to have gained some admiration from the WWE Universe, which does not sit well with The Miz; although he tries to deny it, it is clear that The Miz is not happy about this. Not only do I hope that The Usos beat Miz & Mizdow to retain their championship, but I also hope that Damien turns face and takes a stand against the delusional Miz.

Triple Threat WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match

Brock Lesnar (C) vs. John Cena vs. Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins

This championship match was originally supposed to be a one-on-one match between Lesnar and Cena, but thanks to the recently power-reinstated Principal Owner of WWE Stephanie McMahon & her husband and WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H, Rollins has been added as the third competitor, making this a Triple Threat Match. The odds are against the champion in this match because he does not have to be pinned/submitted to lose the championship. I hope that Cena ends up pinning Lesnar to become the second 16-time World Champion in wrestling history, 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair being the first.

The 2015 Royal Rumble Match

30 men will be competing in this elimination-type match to win an opportunity to face the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at the upcoming WrestleMania 31.

At least for right now, I am hoping that the final four remaining superstars in the match will come down to Ryback, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and R-Truth. Then, I hope that the final three are Ryback, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. Finally, I hope that the last two will end up being Ryback and Roman Reigns. In the end, I hope that Ryback wins the 2015 Royal Rumble Match and goes on to face the WWE World Heavyweight Champion at WrestleMania 31. I would also like to state that I think it is total crap that Erick Rowan will not be one of the participants in this year’s Royal Rumble Match.
