The show began with ROH Match Maker Nigel McGuinness inside the ring surrounded by members of the ROH locker room who are faces. I should point out that the week before on ROH TV, MsChif did something that gave people a reason to believe she had potentially turned heel; however, on this edition of ROH TV, she was amongst the faces that were surrounding ringside. Therefore, I’m just gonna say that she’s still a face and that her emotions just got the better of her last week. Anyway, to the point, Nigel introduced the new ROH World Champion Jay Briscoe. During his speech, he basically said that he was honored to be the one that got the championship out of S.C.U.M.’s (Kevin Steen, Steve Corino, Jimmy Jacobs, Rhino, Matt Hardy, Jimmy Rave, Rhett Titus, & Cliff Compton) clutches and that winning the championship for the first time was just icing on the cake. Then, the next #1 contender to the championship, Adam Cole, stepped into the ring to congratulate Jay, but at the same time, he made it clear that he has every intention of taking the championship off his waist. Also, Jay’s younger brother, Mark, won a match to become the #1 contender to Current ROH Television Champion Matt Taven. The next man in line to face Taven for the championship is ACH. Therefore, whoever walks away with the championship, will defend against Mark Briscoe. Will The Briscoes end up respectively holding both of the singles championships?
