OVW TV 6-1-13: The Coalition Gain Momentum

On this edition of OVW TV, Nikki St. John asked Taeler Hendrix about what has been going on with her and Heidi Lovelace. Taeler confessed to Nikki that she’s only using Heidi to get what she desires; Nikki gave Taeler her full support for it. Later on, when Heidi walked into the locker room, Taeler told her that OVW Women’s Champion Trina Thompson has been saying stuff about her (Taeler) behind her back and encouraged Heidi to go talk to Trina about it. Eventually, she did go talk to Trina; Heidi ended up issuing an open challenge to Trina for her championship, which Trina accepted. Afterwards, Taeler and Nikki were seen hiding behind a door and crediting one another for their con-job. Man, I sure hope Heidi sees Taeler for what she truly is very soon. Also, OVW commentator Michael Titus did an in-ring interview with the team of Michael Hayes & Mohamad Ali Vaez about their reasons for teaming up. During the interview, Vaez revealed that he had served in the U.S. Army and is a graduate of Westbrook. Eventually, members of The Coalition come out and attempt to ambush Hayes & Vaez, but the two men gained the upper hand and chased The Coalition out of the arena. I would also like to point out that that weasel Titus was in on The Coalition’s plan. Also, prior to OVW Television Champion Randy Royal’s championship defense against one-half of The Mascara Mafia Paredyse, Royal’s trainer and friend Tony Gunn continued to question Royal’s ways of winning matches, as well as how he is spending the money he earns every time he successfully defends his championship. Royal assured Gunn that everything was fine. As for the championship match, Royal was victorious in his championship defense after giving a low-blow to Paredyse. After the match, Gunn once again began to question Royal. Then, Rockstar Spud came out and announced that a championship match between Royal and himself had been made official for the Saturday Night Special later on in the night. I would also like to point out that Spud is convinced that Royal is not the same man people have come to know and love. I sure hope Royal doesn’t turn his back on the fans because he came back to wrestling after suffering a heart attack. Finally, Hayes & Vaez came out attacking members of The Coalition. Just when it appeared that Hayes & Vaez had the upper hand, it was a sneak attack by the other two Coalition members in Crimson and Jason Wayne that changed the tide. The show ended with The Coalition gaining momentum for the Saturday Night Special later on in the night.
