Seth Rollins Gets The Authority Back Into Power

As many most likely know, on the last Raw of 2014, Mr. Money in the Bank Seth Rollins blackmailed John Cena, the only person who had the power to bring The Authority back into power, into doing just that when Rollins threatened to permanently cripple WWE Hall of Famer Edge. On the very first Raw of 2015, The Authority was officially back in power. They wasted no time in throwing their weight around. First, they put former Team Cena members Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan into matches with odds stacked against them. Towards the end of Raw, The Authority welcomed John Cena to the ring to show their “appreciation” for him. The Authority then welcomed out Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan. Shortly afterward, The Authority once again threw their weight around and fired Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan. The Authority then took Raw home by saying that The Authority is back in power, three men had just lost their livelihood, and that everybody can thank John Cena for all of it.

John Cena Gets Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan Back Into WWE

After Seth Rollins manipulated John Cena into bringing The Authority back into power, Cena could actually do a little manipulating of his own. First, he would take Rollins’ Money in the Bank briefcase. Then, Rollins would call Cena out for it. Cena would then appear on the titantron and be standing on a bridge over a river with the briefcase in hand. He would then threaten to throw the briefcase into the river unless Rollins agreed to talk his Authority leaders Triple H & Stephanie McMahon into giving Dolph Ziggler, Ryback and Erick Rowan their jobs back. After Rollins agrees to do so, Cena would then demand that Rollins bring out Triple H & Stephanie and to convince them right there and now. After they come out, Rollins is then able to convince them to give Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan their jobs back. Then, Cena would say that there is one more thing that he wants Rollins to do and that is to convince his bosses to give Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan spots in the upcoming 30-Man Royal Rumble Match. After Rollins successfully convinces his bosses to do so, Cena would then say, “Thank you Seth, but damn you got to know me better than that.” Cena would then proceed to throw Seth’s briefcase into the river anyway. Later on, The Authority would call out Cena to face the repercussions for his actions earlier in the night. Cena would then come out and tell Rollins that he did not throw his briefcase into the river. Cena would then have a briefcase lowered from the rafters of the arena and explain to a confused Rollins that that is the real briefcase and the one that he threw into the river was only a copy that he made of the real briefcase. Cena would then further explain by telling Rollins that he did not need to throw Seth’s briefcase into the river, he just needed him to think that he was going to. Cena would then point out to Rollins that since that was not the real briefcase he threw into the river, it turns out that Seth actually did not have to talk his bosses into doing anything after all. Cena would then toss Rollins his briefcase back to him and then make his way up to the entrance ramp. Finally, Ziggler, Ryback and Rowan would soon come out to join Cena and all would raise one another’s arms in unison, meaning that the three rehired guys were in on it with Cena, leaving The Authority livid. Bottom line, Cena, along with the three other guys, would have definitely pulled one over on The Authority.
