TNA Reaction From Lockdown Review

This YouTube clip of TNA Reaction featured the aftermath of the TNA Knockout Women’s Championship Match between Champion Velvet Sky and Challenger Gail Kim from Lockdown. Knockout Referee Taryn Terrell ended up playing a significant role in Velvet defeating Gail; however, Gail got physical with Taryn. Gail dared Taryn to disqualify her, but instead, Taryn retaliated with a spear to Gail. Gail took zero responsibility for the incident and put the whole thing on Taryn and Velvet being in cahoots, like she has been for the past few weeks. Taryn explained that she’s only human and that everybody reaches their boiling point and after weeks of Gail pushing her buttons, she had finally reached her boiling point. She added that when she reaches a boiling point with something like that, she will stand up for herself. She also added that Gail will probably go to Knockouts VP Brooke Hogan and complain to her. She also said that if her actions of standing up for herself end up costing her her job as the Knockouts Referee or even her job with TNA entirely, so be it. Velvet said that she emphasizes with Taryn as far as standing up for herself and that Gail can make all the conspiracy theories she wants to, but she said that all Taryn is doing is playing by the rules and making sure a cheater doesn’t cheat. I think Velvet hit the nail right on the head there, a referee is supposed to play by the rules, call the match straight down the line, and make sure there is no cheating involved and that is exactly what Taryn has been doing. As far as the outcome of that match, as I said before, Taryn didn’t screw Gail, Velvet certainly didn’t screw Gail, Gail screwed Gail. Taryn has been put on probation. Like I said before, I think the right thing for Brooke Hogan to do is to relieve Taryn of her duties as Knockouts Referee and make her a full-time competitor and make a match between her and Gail.
