On this edition of Smackdown, one-half of Team Hell No Daniel Bryan was still having a hard time dealing with Team Hell No losing the WWE Tag Team Championship at the Extreme Rules Pay-Per-View event last Sunday. Bryan has this paranoia that he is the weak link of Team Hell No. Despite words of encouragement from the other half of Team Hell No Kane, it did nothing in snapping Bryan out of his paranoia. In his match against Jack Swagger, Bryan managed to beat him by getting him to tap out to his signature submission hold “The “No” Lock”. After the match, Bryan had snapped and once again locked Swagger in the “No” Lock” until his tag team partner Kane pulled him off. On this week’s edition of Backstage Fallout from Smackdown on WWE on YouTube, Bryan continued his tirade. Also, new United States Champion and Shield leader Dean Ambrose made his first championship defense against the very man he beat for it, Kofi Kingston. At one point in the match, while Kofi was getting ready to launch himself off the top ring rope onto Ambrose, the new WWE Tag Team Champions and other two Shield members Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns got involved, which lead to the disqualification win for Kofi, thus Ambrose is still champion. The Shield then gave a post-match attack to Kofi until both Randy Orton and Sheamus O’Shaunessy came to even the odds for Kofi. Then, the Senior Advisor to the Smackdown General Manager (WWE Hall of Famer Booker T) Teddy Long, who is in charged of Smackdown while Booker is recovering from an elbow injury, decided to make a Six-Man Tag Team Main Event Match between the team of Kofi, Orton, and Sheamus against all three members of The Shield. In the end, thanks to a distraction from Rollins, Ambrose was able to hit Kofi with his signature maneuver to get the pin and the win for his team to end the program.
