After Randy Orton & Sheamus defeated Team Rhodes Scholars, The Shield appeared on the titantron and issued a WrestleMania 29 challenge. They said it would be the three of them against Randy Orton, Sheamus, and a partner of their choosing. Orton & Sheamus accepted the challenge. Later on backstage, The Big Show tried to state his case to Orton & Sheamus, only to find out that they had already chosen Ryback as their partner for WrestleMania. Personally, I think they did the right thing by choosing Ryback over Big Show because Big Show isn’t a trustworthy guy. During an interview backstage, Sheamus & Orton got interrupted by a brutal attack from The Shield. Ryback eventually found out about it, but Smackdown General Manager Booker T told Ryback that he would take care of it and to go out and have his match with Mark Henry. The match between these two had barely gotten started when The Shield entered through the crowd and came to attack Ryback. After the attack, Mark Henry took full advantage of it by laying out Ryback with not one, not two, but three World’s Strongest Slams. This was definitely a cheap and cowardly move on the part of Mark Henry. I guarantee that it wouldn’t have been super easy for Mark Henry to do what he did to Ryback if not for that attack by The Shield. Also, there was one match that was not shown on TV, but on WWE Active instead. This match was between The Miz and one-half of The Primetime Players, Darren Young. The Miz ended up getting the victory. Also, Fandango was scheduled to go one-on-one with The Great Khali; however, he once again refused to compete due to nobody pronouncing his name to his satisfaction. This whole thing with Fandango is getting ridiculous, the WWE needs to make Fandango realize that he doesn’t run the show and that he needs to compete when scheduled to.
