On this edition of Saturday Morning Slam, Kofi Kingston was on commentary with Josh Mathews. The first match of the morning was a tag team match between the team of Zack Ryder and Justin Gabriel against 3MB members Drew McIntyre & Jinder Mahal with the leader of 3MB Heath Slater in their corner. In the end, thanks to a distraction by Heath Slater and the hooking of the trunks for added leverage, 3MB got the victory. But 3MB weren’t done there, they attacked Ryder and Gabriel after the match, prompting Kofi Kingston to leave the announce desk to even the odds. Then, the General Manager of Saturday Morning Slam and WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley came out and told Kofi that he understood his motives for leaving the announce desk, but that commentators are only supposed to call the action; therefore, he took Kofi off commentary. However, Foley also decided that since the other two members of 3MB had a match, he felt that Heath Slater should have one as well. Therefore, Foley made the next match of the morning between Kofi Kingston and Heath Slater. World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler called the action with Josh Mathews for the rest of show. As for the match between Kofi and Slater, Kofi came out on top. Also, WWE Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan came into Mick Foley’s office to discuss making him Foley’s assistant; however, Mark Henry then came into the office because Foley wanted to talk to Henry about the match he would be having that morning. Daniel Bryan took issue with this, prompting Henry to tell Foley that whoever he had in mind for Henry’s upcoming match to cancel it and make Daniel Bryan his opponent instead. Mick Foley thought the match was a great idea, so he made it happen. In the David vs. Goliath encounter, Henry ended up coming  out on top to end the program.
