Survivor Series 2014

One of the best things about one of WWE’s top events of the year, Survivor Series, is the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Matches. I have come up with some ideas for two possible matches.

Team Brie vs. Team Nikki

Nikki Bella had recently betrayed her twin sister Brie and the two estranged siblings have been at each others’ throats ever since. Both Bella sisters are also two of the stars of WWE reality show Total Divas, which just had its mid-season 3 finale. Both Alicia Fox and Paige will be joining the cast when the second half of season 3 continues in January. I should also point out that at the recent WWE Pay-Per-View event “Hell in a Cell”, Brie and Nikki went one-on-one in a match to determine who would be the other one’s personal assistant for a month. Unfortunately, Brie was beaten by her sister; therefore, she is her sister’s personal assistant for the next month. The stipulation of that match also stated that if the loser of the match decides not to go through with being the personal assistant, then she would be forced to leave WWE. I know that Brie will stick it out for the next month. By the time Survivor Series takes place, it should be at least pretty close to Brie’s days as Nikki’s personal assistant being up. With all that being said, they would be the perfect respective team captains for this match; it would feature all 10 of the cast members for the upcoming second half of season 3 of Total Divas. The match would be Team Brie, consisting of the face divas (Team Captain Brie Bella, Naomi, Natalya, Rosa Mendes and Alicia Fox) against Team Nikki, consisting of the heel divas (Team Captain Nikki, Cameron, Summer Rae, Eva Marie and Paige) in a 5-on-5 Traditional Survivor Series Tag Team Elimination Match. There are currently some feuds happening between these divas, so this is why I feel this match would be perfect for Survivor Series.

Team Cena vs. Team Authority

It was announced this past Monday on Raw that it will be Team Cena vs. Team Authority in a Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Match. John Cena, of course, will be the team captain for Team Cena and it was not specified who would captain Team Authority. Another thing that was not specified is how many guys would be on each team. Nonetheless, I could care less who joins Team Authority, as long as it does not involve a face selling out and becoming a heel. As far as who could be joining Team Cena, I can think of some possible names. For instance, this past Monday, Cena was seen talking with current Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and while the viewers could not catch what they were saying to one another, it appeared that Cena had convinced Ziggler to at least consider joining his team. Another name that would be an excellent choice is Ryback, who made his return this past Monday as a face. Ryback also admitted to the error of his ways and realizes that WWE needs a hero and that he can be that guy. Well, joining Team Cena would definitely make him that guy. Other great possible names would be The Usos (Jimmy & Jey), Big Show, current United States Champion Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Big E, Jack Swagger, The Great Khali, R-Truth, Zack Ryder, current NXT Tag Team Champion Sin Cara, Dean Ambrose and even Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson or WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, who has said he is planning on wrestling one more match. I am confident that some of the names mentioned above will join Team Cena.
