The show began with a one-on-one match between Elvis Pridemoore and Coalition member Joe Coleman. In the end, other members of The Coalition come out and gang up on Pridemoore, until Jay Bradley, who was attacked by The Coalition backstage last week on OVW TV, comes out to put a stop to it. Bradley then challenges any two members of The Coalition to a match; OVW Director of Operations Michael Hayes comes out and makes the match official for the main event of the evening. Throughout the night, people had been offering Bradley to be his tag team partner for the match, but Bradley told everybody that he doesn’t want a partner. Eventually, backstage, Hayes tells Bradley that he needs to have a partner or the match won’t happen; Rob Terry then walks in and confirms that he is his partner for the match. Also, it was the return of current MMA Fighter and TNA Superstar King Mo making his first OVW appearance, as well as having his first official match in TNA. His opponent was VIP Club member J Best (accompanied by the other members of The VIP Club); King Mo ended up forcing J Best to tap out to the submission hold he used on him to get the victory in his first match. Also, OVW Television Champion Rockstar Spud defended against Randy Royal (accompanied by Tony Gunn). While I am a fan of both of these guys, I was rooting for Royal to win the championship, partly because he need the championship so he could get the money to pay his medical bill. At one point in the match, Royal uncharacteristically rolled up Spud for the pin while attempting to use the ring ropes for added leverage, but his friend Tony Gunn stopped Royal before he would do something he may regret. Unfortunately for Royal, it allowed Spud to capitalize and beat Royal to retain his championship. After the match, Royal was angry at Gunn and he then grabbed a mic telling Spud that he knew he had him; therefore, he challenged Spud to a rematch for the championship for the Saturday Night Special later on in the night. Spud responded by telling Royal that since he’s a fighting champion, he accepts the challenge. After seeing all of that unfold, I’m not going to say that Royal has turned heel just yet, but I will say that he’s on probation in doing so. Regardless, Royal was the guy that I was going to root for in the rematch. Also, Heidi Lovelace comes out and asks Taeler Hendrix to come out and tell her how she feels about her. Taeler comes out, but before she can really answer Heidi, they are interrupted by Taeler’s boyfriend Dylan Bostic. Dylan then forces his will onto both women and is shoved aside for doing so; Dylan then grabs Taeler by the arm, before Ryan Howe comes out and runs Dylan off. We still have more questions than answers as far as that situation goes. Finally, in the main event, it was Rob Terry and Jay Bradley taking on Coalition members Raul LaMotta & Shiloh Jonze. I was rooting for Rob Terry, but as far as Jay Bradley went, I was just rooting against The Coalition. In the end, the rest of The Coalition comes out and gangs up on Terry and Bradley; other members of the OVW locker room come out and try to help, but are overpowered by The Coalition as well. Michael Hayes then comes out to put a stop to things and then goes on to tell Coalition member and former U.S. Military Serviceman Jason Wayne how disgusted he is with the type of person that he has become; Hayes is a former U.S. Military Serviceman in his own right. The Coalition then sinks to a new low by attacking the OVW Director of Operations, before Rob Terry runs them off to end the program.
