One of the greatest tag teams of all time are The Rockers (Shawn Michaels & Marty Jannetty). After the ugly break-up between the two, a lot of people are saying that while Shawn Michaels went on to become one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time, which he did, Marty Jannetty on the other hand, went on to become nobody. I do not believe that for one second; Jannetty went on to become Intercontinental Champion and one-half of the World Tag Team Champions (alongside The 1-2-3 Kid). If he would have gone on to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he would be among the list of WWE’s Triple Crown Champions, which includes Shawn Michaels. So, while Jannetty did not achieve the same amount of fame and success that Michaels achieved, I would say he still did pretty well for himself. Bottom line, contrary to what many people are saying, I truly believe that Marty Jannetty is one of, if not the most, underrated WWE Superstars in history.
