The program began with Aces & Eights coming to the ring to address the TNA Fans. TNA Television Champion Devon announced that he had an envelope in his hand that contained something that would change the relationship between TNA World Heavyweight Champion and President of Aces & Eights Bully Ray and his estranged wife Knockout Executive Brooke Hogan. Then, the VP of Aces & Eights D’Lo Brown announced that he was handed a notice from TNA Management that he had been fired from TNA. Despite that, he was at the arena for the rest of the show. I’m guessing that Aces & Eights invited him to the arena last night. Also, Joey Ryan offered Brooke Hogan to have him be Taryn Terrell’s replacement as the Knockouts Referee. Brooke reluctantly agreed, but warned Joey not to touch any of the knockouts in any way. Then, Joey officiated his very first match involving the knockouts (and, as far as I know, his very first match in general) when TNA Knockout Women’s Champion Velvet Sky teamed up with Taryn Terrell to take on the team of Gail Kim and Tara. Not only did Joey disobey Brooke Hogan’s warning by touching the knockouts, but throughout the entire match, all he did was spend time eyeballing the knockouts’ assets with no regards of the match or its rules, including the times when a knockout had one of their opponents pinned and eyeballed their assets instead of counting the pinfall. At one point in the match, Gail Kim realized this and decided to use her assets to her advantage to woo Joey. Then, Taryn rolled up Gail for a pinfall, but Joey was too busy rubbing baby oil on chest with his back turned to the action. Once Joey turned around, Gail had already reversed the roll-up, hooked Taryn’s trunks for added leverage, and Joey made a super fast three-count, which helped Gail & Tara get the tainted victory. After Joey did Gail’s bidding, she bade Joey “Adieu”. Then, after Gail & Tara headed to the back, Joey once again set his sights on Velvet and Taryn. Then, Velvet whispered something into Taryn’s ear. Velvet then approached Joey; with his attention diverted to Velvet, Taryn came up from behind and low-blowed Joey for not only screwing her and Velvet out of getting a victory, but for his pervert-like ways as well. Therefore, we found out what Velvet had whispered into Taryn’s ear. Next week on Impact Wrestling, Taryn Terrell will go one-on-one with Gail Kim. I sure hope Brooke Hogan decides to relieve Joey of his duties as Knockouts Referee after disobeying her warning and for the way he officiated the match. Also, during the official contract signing of the TNA World Tag Team Championship Match for next week between champions Bobby Roode & Austin Aries and challengers Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez, both teams agreed to add two more stipulations to the match. Those stipulations were a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match and that if Chavo & Hernandez lose, they can never team together again in TNA. Also, in an X-Division Championship qualifying triple threat match, Sonjay Dutt took on Petey Williams and Mason Andrews. While I am a fan of both Sonjay and Petey, I was rooting for Sonjay. But in the end, Petey Williams ended up getting the win; therefore, qualifying to face both the X-Division Champion Kenny King and Zema Ion in the next triple threat championship match. Also, after getting another offer to join Aces & Eights earlier in the night, General Manager Hulk Hogan called out AJ Styles to find out whether AJ stands with TNA or Aces & Eights. Before AJ could answer, James Storm comes out and gives some words of wisdom to AJ about the decision he was about to make. However, instead of giving an answer, AJ walks off. Hulk has given AJ one week to decide where he stands and he said that if AJ isn’t with TNA, then he’s gone. Hopefully, AJ will see the light and remain with TNA. Also, it was the return of “Gut Check” this week when contestants Magno and Adam Pearce faced each other to earn an opportunity to get a TNA contract. Adam Pearce ended up getting the victory by hooking the ring ropes for extra leverage. What will the “Gut Check” Judges’ decision be? Only one of the contestants can advance and have an opportunity to get a TNA contract. Whichever one it may be, will he have impressed the judges enough to earn the contract? In the main event, it was a 10-Man Tag Team War when Team TNA (Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Magnus, TNA Knockout Women’s Tag Team Champion Eric Young, and Joseph Park) took on Team Aces & Eights (Devon, D.O.C., Knux, Garett Bischoff, and Wes Brisco). Thanks to a low-blow to Joseph Park, Team Aces & Eights got the tainted victory. Finally, Bully Ray, with the envelope from earlier in the night in his hand, calls out his estranged wife Brooke Hogan. Inside the envelope was a front-row seat ticket to next week’s Impact Wrestling so that she can watch “me destroy Jeff Hardy when I beat him in the Full Metal Mayhem match next week and retain my championship”. Then, after throwing an insult at Brooke about her figure, Brooke slaps her estranged husband across the face and tears the ticket up. Bully Ray then corners Brooke, prompting Jeff Hardy to come to her aid to end the program.
