Becky Lynch, Naomi and Carmella vs. Natalya and Alexa Bliss

Note: Since Natalya and Alexa Bliss’ scheduled tag team partner for SummerSlam, Eva Marie, has been suspended by WWE for 30 days, she will not be at SummerSlam, much less competing in this match. Now the question remains: will this be a 3-on-2 Handicap Match or will Natalya and Alexa find someone to take Eva’s spot and still make it a 6-Woman Tag Team Match?

Winners: Becky Lynch, Naomi and Carmella

My Hopes/Predictions for WWE SummerSlam 2015

WWE SummerSlam 2015

The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar

Every time that The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar have gone one-on-one, Lesnar has always come out on top; however, the most significant victory that Lesnar owns over The Undertaker took place at WrestleMania 30. After going undefeated at WrestleMania for over two decades, The Undertaker’s streak was put to an end by Lesnar when he chalked up Undertaker’s first-ever loss at WrestleMania, bringing Undertaker’s WrestleMania win-loss record to 21-1. Since then, The Undertaker chalked up another win at WrestleMania 31 earlier this year, bringing the win-loss record to 22-1. After being away since then, The Undertaker finally made his return at Battleground last month and cost Lesnar the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The Undertaker explained that while he accepts the fact that streaks are made to be broken, he is done standing by listening to Lesnar and perhaps even more so, his advocate Paul Heyman, endlessly gloat about breaking the streak. It all comes down to this in the main event of this year’s SummerSlam when Undertaker and Lesnar go at it once again. This time however, unlike their previous matches, The Undertaker will finally conquer The Beast Incarnate.

WrestleMania Rematches at SummerSlam

WrestleMania and SummerSlam

As many may know, WWE’s biggest show of the year is WrestleMania. The company’s second biggest show of the year is SummerSlam. One thing that I particularly like about both events is the fact that there have been a select few WrestleMania matches that have had rematches at SummerSlam later that year. Some matches are very memorable and some are not so memorable. Without further ado, here is the list of those matches.

WrestleMania 4 and SummerSlam 1988

Don Muraco vs. Dino Bravo

WrestleMania 5 and SummerSlam 1989

Ultimate Warrior vs. Rick Rude

WrestleMania 7 and SummerSlam 1991

Virgil vs. “The Millon Dallor Man” Ted DiBiase

WrestleMania 9 and SummerSlam 1993

The Undertaker vs. Giant Gonzales

WrestleMania 10 and Summerslam 1994

Bret Hart vs. Owen Hart

WrestleMania 16 and SummerSlam 2000

Edge & Christian vs. The Hardys vs. The Dudleys

The Kat vs. Terri Runnels

WrestleMania 19 and SummerSlam 2003

Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar

WrestleMania 20 and SummerSlam 2004

Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle

WrestleMania 21 and SummerSlam 2005

Rey Mysterio vs. Eddie Guerrero

The Undertaker vs. Randy Orton

WrestleMania 24 and SummerSlam 2008

Did Stephanie McMahon Fall Victim to “Twin Magic”?

Stephanie McMahon Arrested

This past Monday on Raw, Stephanie McMahon slapped former WWE Diva Brie Bella, who was in attendance in the front row of the crowd, and ended up having Stephanie arrested for aggravated battery in the process. After seeing these events take place, I am beginning to wonder if The Bellas (Nikki & Brie) had set this whole thing up.

The Surprise

First, during the Raw Pre-Show, it was learned that Nikki would be facing four other Divas in a 4-on-1 Handicap Match made by Stephanie, who has been putting Nikki in vulnerable positions out of spite for nearly a month now. This all started when her sister, Brie, stood up to Stephanie and quit WWE, followed by slapping Stephanie in the process. Prior to her 4-on-1 Handicap Match, Nikki had stated that she had a special surprise for Stephanie. As Nikki made her way to the ring for her match, Brie was spotted in the front row of the audience. Stephanie then came out and got into a confrontation with Brie, which led to Stephanie slapping Brie and getting arrested. My theory is that The Bellas were counting on Stephanie coming out and shoving their misfortunes down their throats. …

Was John “Bradshaw” Layfield Part of the Plot?

 JBL

Last month at WWE SummerSlam, then-WWE Champion John Cena defended his championship against Daniel Bryan with WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H serving as special guest referee. All three of these men were faces at that time and Cena and Bryan still are. In the end, it was Bryan who beat Cena to become the new WWE Champion. After the match, Cena was a sport and shook Bryan’s hand and also shook Triple H’s hand for calling the match straight down the line. After Cena had left the ring, Bryan began celebrating his victory; however, the celebration was cut short by Randy Orton, who came out to cash in his Money In the Bank WWE Championship contract, which consisted of a guarenteed opportunity at the championship at anytime and anywhere. I would also like to point out that Orton was a face at the time as well. Then, Triple H shocked the entire world when he hit Bryan with his signature maneuver, the Pedigree. Then, Orton cashed in his championship opportunity and Triple H appointed himself as special guest referee for the match. Once the ring bell was rung to begin the match, Orton picked up Triple H’s scraps and …
