Two Match Ideas for WWE Survivor Series 2014

Survivor Series 2014

One of the best things about one of WWE’s top events of the year, Survivor Series, is the Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Tag Team Matches. I have come up with some ideas for two possible matches.

Team Brie vs. Team Nikki

Nikki Bella had recently betrayed her twin sister Brie and the two estranged siblings have been at each others’ throats ever since. Both Bella sisters are also two of the stars of WWE reality show Total Divas, which just had its mid-season 3 finale. Both Alicia Fox and Paige will be joining the cast when the second half of season 3 continues in January. I should also point out that at the recent WWE Pay-Per-View event “Hell in a Cell”, Brie and Nikki went one-on-one in a match to determine who would be the other one’s personal assistant for a month. Unfortunately, Brie was beaten by her sister; therefore, she is her sister’s personal assistant for the next month. The stipulation of that match also stated that if the loser of the match decides not to go through with being the personal assistant, then she would be forced to leave WWE. I know that Brie will stick it …

WWE Needs to Stop Holding These Guys Back

I am sick and tired of WWE holding back great talents like Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods, Zack Ryder, R-Truth and Sin Cara. These six men have made significant impacts during their respective runs in WWE. The Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View event was this past Sunday and not one of these men had a single match on the card or the Kickoff Show (Pre-Show) and they definitely should have.

Kofi Kingston

Kofi Kingston should already be a former World Champion by now. In addition to holding every other major championship WWE has to offer, he also owns numerous victories over former World Champions, he was the team captain and sole survivor of his team at Survivor Series in 2009 and he has created many memorable moments in Royal Rumble Matches and Battle Royals. While he has received World Title opportunities, none of them were one-on-one opportunities; he is way overdue for one. When is WWE going to realize that Kofi is the true future of WWE?

Big E

After spending time down at NXT (WWE’s developmental system) as the second NXT Champion in history, he arrived on the main roster towards the end of …

Bella vs. Bella

Brie vs. Nikki

It was announced in a exclusive video from the October 13, 2014 edition of Monday Night Raw that Nikki and Brie Bella will go one-on-one at the upcoming Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View event. The stipulation of the match is that whoever loses must become the winner’s personal assistant. I have a couple of ideas of what the aftermath of this match would be. First, if Brie wins, she would decide to be the better woman and choose not to make her backstabbing sister her personal assistant; rather, she would tell Nikki that until she is ready to be a sister to Brie again, they would be going down different paths. The other idea is that if Nikki wins, which, personally, I am not counting on; Brie would make Nikki not want to have Brie as her personal assistant anymore by deliberately getting everything wrong with every order that Nikki potentially gives Brie. In addition to that, if The Authority threatens to fire Brie for doing that, Brie would dare them to fire her because she would not care due to the fact that she and her husband, Daniel Bryan, always will find a way to get back into …

NXT Superstars and Divas Who Should Be on WWE’s Main Roster

NXT is WWE’s developmental system. I know that there are many superstars and divas on that roster that have a very bright future in WWE. There are, however, a few particular superstars and divas that have proven themselves worthy of having spots on the main roster. Among these superstars and divas are current NXT Champion Adrian Neville, current NXT Tag Team Champion Kalisto, Sami Zayn, Hideo Itami, Mojo Rawley, Colin Cassady, Enzo Amore, current NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte, Bayley and Alexa Bliss. There have already been some superstars and divas that have come up from NXT and have made a significant impact on WWE’s main roster; such as Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Big E, Xavier Woods, Adam Rose, The Bunny, Emma, JoJo and the list goes on. I honestly feel that all the current NXT superstars and divas mentioned above have proven that they have what it takes to make a significant impact on WWE’s main roster as well.…

WWE Superstars Who Should Be in the Main Event/Championship Picture

New WWE Logo

Today in WWE, we see guys like John Cena, Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, Big Show, Mark Henry, Rey Mysterio, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Rob Van Dam, The Undertaker and Jack Swagger in the Main Event/Championship picture. While all of these guys definitely belong there, I feel that there are a few other guys that belong there as well, but are not necessarily completely there at the moment. These names include guys like Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods, R-Truth, The Great Khali, Zack Ryder, Adam Rose, Sin Cara, William Regal, Hunico, David Otunga, Darren Young and Alex Riley. All of these men have made a significant impact in WWE and I feel that they are not getting the opportunities that they deserve to showcase them.…

The Stories Behind Randy Orton, Seth Rollins and Nikki Bella Selling Out to The Authority

Randy Orton Seth Rollins

Nikki Bella

As many people know by now, one of WWE’s most evil, if not the most evil, factions came to life about a year ago; that faction being The Authority, which is currently led by one of WWE’s Principal Owners Stephanie McMahon and her husband WWE Chief Operating Officer Triple H. Since then, numerous superstars have aligned themselves with The Authority, which included once-beloved superstars selling out. After seeing The Authority for a little more than a year now, I have put together pieces of the puzzle and realized that there are three notable sellouts that had and still do have similar agendas.

Randy Orton

Last year at WWE SummerSlam, after Daniel Bryan had defeated John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, in which Triple H was the special guest referee for that match, then-Money in the Bank contract holder Randy Orton came out. Then, out of nowhere, Triple H hits Daniel with his finishing maneuver, the Pedigree. Orton then cashes in his Money in the Bank contract for an opportunity at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Triple H appoints himself as special guest referee and the match is officially underway. Orton picks up Triple H’s scraps, pins Daniel …

Did Stephanie McMahon Fall Victim to “Twin Magic”?

Stephanie McMahon Arrested

This past Monday on Raw, Stephanie McMahon slapped former WWE Diva Brie Bella, who was in attendance in the front row of the crowd, and ended up having Stephanie arrested for aggravated battery in the process. After seeing these events take place, I am beginning to wonder if The Bellas (Nikki & Brie) had set this whole thing up.

The Surprise

First, during the Raw Pre-Show, it was learned that Nikki would be facing four other Divas in a 4-on-1 Handicap Match made by Stephanie, who has been putting Nikki in vulnerable positions out of spite for nearly a month now. This all started when her sister, Brie, stood up to Stephanie and quit WWE, followed by slapping Stephanie in the process. Prior to her 4-on-1 Handicap Match, Nikki had stated that she had a special surprise for Stephanie. As Nikki made her way to the ring for her match, Brie was spotted in the front row of the audience. Stephanie then came out and got into a confrontation with Brie, which led to Stephanie slapping Brie and getting arrested. My theory is that The Bellas were counting on Stephanie coming out and shoving their misfortunes down their throats. …

Two Successful Factions That featured Four Successful Superstars

fourhorsemen nwo-logo

What do Sting (the real Sting, not the fake Sting); Jeff Jarrett, Lex Luger and Curt Hennig all have in common? They were all, at one time or another, members of two of the most successful factions in wrestling history; The Four Horsemen and The New World Order (nWo). All four of these men have had Hall of Fame worthy careers. In addition to being a multi-time World Champion, Sting was the heart and soul of World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He has changed his looks over the years with his famous face paint and is a TNA Hall of Famer. Jeff Jarrett, who is also a multi-time World Champion, was one of the Co-Founders of Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling, along with his father Jerry Jarrett. Lex Luger is a multi-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and is famous for bodyslamming the 500-plus pound Yokozuna during his WWE tenure; he represented the United States of America against Yokozuna’s anti-American ways. The late, great Curt Hennig is a former AWA World Champion; he made a name for himself under his “Mr. Perfect” persona and is a WWE Hall of Famer. While only two of these four guys may be Hall of Famers, I …

WWE Takes over Grand Rapids Once Again

Van Andel Arena

Last night, I was in attendance at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI for WWE Live. This event was not televised, but one of the best things about that is that something newsworthy can happen that a lot of people do not get to see.

Two Divas Switch Roles

Summer Rae and The Funkadactyls (Naomi & Cameron) teamed up against Layla, Eva Marie and Rosa Mendes; therefore, this means that Summer Rae is now a face and Eva Marie is now a heel. What began as a dance-off ended up turning into a Six-Diva Tag Team Match. In the end, Summer and The Funkadactyls were victorious.

Dancing Confidently

It would appear that Cody Rhodes has regained his confidence to team up with his half-brother Goldust once again because they teamed up against WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) and Wyatt Family members Luke Harper & Erick Rowan in a Triple Threat Match for the The Usos’ Championships. While I am a fan of both The Usos and The Rhodes Brothers, I was rooting for The Usos to win this one. I would also like to point out that during the match, both The …

The Rock-Triple H

The Rock vs Triple H

It is well documented that both Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Triple H have created huge legacies for themselves. Their rise to fame started in 1997 when The Rock joined the Nation of Domination and Triple H joined D-Generation X. In 1998, both men eventually became the leaders of their two respective factions and the two factions waged war against each other. DX were the heroes and The Nation were the villains. Eventually, The Nation ceased to exist and The Rock became a hero for awhile; until he joined forces with WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon’s villainous faction, The Corporation. In 1999, Triple H turned his back on DX and joined The Corporation himself. Not too long after that, The Corporation turned their backs on The Rock. Thus, The Rock became a hero once again. From that point on, I think it was clear that The Rock was going to be the beloved hero and Triple H was going to the despised villain in what would go on to become one of the most memorable rivalries of all-time. Throughout most of 2000, these two men spent their time feuding with one another. This is when both men’s legacies were cemented.…

Vickie Guerrero Has Got to Go

Vickie Guerrero

Vickie Guerrero is by far the most unbearable person to ever set foot in WWE and dare I say, the entire wrestling world altogether. Her voice is like hearing a chalkboard get scratched; maybe even worse. It especially sounds that way when she says “Excuse Me!” a term which she has butchered for life. If someone were ever to ask me if any other heel is so unbearable to listen to, I would tell that person that I could put up with listening to just about anybody because I have heard the way Vickie Guerrero sounds. Every time I watch a WWE program, there are certain times when I need to constantly cover my ears, just in case she arrives on the scene out of nowhere and catches people off guard with that butchered term. I also need to hit the mute button during all of her tirades because she could say that term at any time, when you least expect it. She is definitely not great to look at either; as a matter of fact, out of all the witches in wrestling history, she may be the first that actually looks like one. I have seen a lot of …

Legends In the “House”

Last night was the premiere episode of Legends’ House on WWE Network. This is a reality show that consists of eight WWE Legends living under one roof in Palm Springs, CA. The eight legends for this first season are “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, Jimmy Hart, Pat Patterson, Tony Atlas, Hillbilly Jim, “Mean” Gene Okerlund and Howard Finkel. Each and every one of these legends is a WWE Hall of Famer; with the exception of Hillbilly Jim. I do, however, believe that he we will one day go into the WWE Hall of Fame. I would also like to point out that there is an additional cast member this season. She is a young, blonde, attractive woman named Ashley. Ashley is the events coordinator for the legends and based on the fact that she said that she was sent to the house on behalf of WWE, I am going to assume that she works for the company. I have already gotten to see these legends like I have never seen them before (i.e.; interacting with neighbors, going grocery shopping, playing tennis, cooking, trying to figure out how to use a blender, etc.) and the show is just getting started. …

The Story Behind the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

As many people may know, the first-ever Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal took place at WrestleMania 30. The winner ended up being Cesaro. Originally, there were supposed to be 30 men in the match, but it ended up being 31 instead. I have a theory to how all of this happened. First, based on what I heard on this past Monday’s Raw Pre-Show, I think the reason that Christian did not end up competing in the Battle Royal was due to injury. Also, during this past Monday’s Raw, I noticed the commentators mentioning how Paul Heyman got Cesaro into the Battle Royal. After hearing all of this, I have come up with this theory: With Christian out of the Battle Royal, it went from three open spots to four open spots. The four guys that filled those spots were Xavier Woods, Tyson Kidd, Yoshi Tatsu, and David Otunga. I think this is how the Battle Royal was originally supposed to take place; however, somehow, someway, Heyman must have gotten Ceasro into the Battle Royal and that is how it became 31 instead of 30. With that being said, I think there is indeed some controversy surrounding this WrestleMania 30 …

NXT Takes Over the Night After WrestleMania

Paige WWE Divas Champion

WrestleMania 31 is in the books. The following night on Raw, the WWE Universe was still feeling the impact that was made the previous night; however, what they did not expect to feel was the impact that NXT was going to be making throughout the entire Raw show. Whether it was the original NXT that featured pros and rookies paired together or NXT, the current developmental system for WWE, this night mostly belonged to NXT.

The Wyatt Family’s Mind Control?

During NXT alumni’s The Wyatt Family’s (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan) Six-Man Tag Team Match against the team of John Cena, Sheamus and current Intercontinental Champion Big E, there were a lot of WWE Universe members who rallied behind The Wyatt Family. Anybody who is familiar with them knows that they are all about the mind games. Is it possible that The Wyatt Family have gained control of some of the WWE Universe members’ minds? I guess only time will tell. I should also point out that The Wyatt Family was victorious in this match.

Emma Continues to “Emmaze”

NXT alumnus Emma recently arrived on the main roster. Ever since, she has impressed people with …

Ultimate Warrior Passes Away

Ultimate Warrior

The man born James Hellwig, who legally changed his name to Warrior and wrestled under the name Ultimate Warrior, passed away yesterday, Tuesday April 8, 2014. Warrior had collapsed while walking with his wife from his Arizona hotel to his car. After being transported to a nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead. A cause of death has not been released. This just doesn’t seem real; four days ago I just saw him get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, then the next night I saw him stand on the stage of WrestleMania 30 with all the other members of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2014, then the night before his death, he appeared on Monday Night Raw to address the WWE Universe. I do not get this at all, during his final days that I saw him, he looked just fine. This feels like a nightmare that I could wake up from any second now. I witnessed his two young daughters escort him at the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony; I can only imagine how devastated they must be at the moment. Warrior will be deeply missed and while he may be gone from this life on …
