The Wrestling Company That Paved the Way for the Women’s Division

I recently watched a documentary called “What?: GLOW: The Story of Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling”. GLOW (Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling) was an all-women wrestling company that took the 80s by storm. This documentary talked about the ladies who wrestled for the company, the rise and fall of the company, and the first-ever reunion of the women since the company’s demise. I truly believe that this wrestling company had a huge impact on wrestling’s women’s divisions we see today in top companies like World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), and Ring of Honor Wrestling (ROH). As a matter of fact, what I really found interesting about this was the fact that former WWE Diva Ivory wrestled for GLOW before she went on to become a 3-time WWE Women’s Champion in WWE. Ivory wrestled under the name Tina Ferrari. I feel that this wrestling company showed that the women can be just as dominant as the men can be in the world of professional wrestling.…

Kiss My Foot Matches Between the Women

The Rule of a Kiss My Foot Match is that the loser of the match must kiss the winner’s feet. Throughout wrestling history, WWE has had two Kiss My Foot Matches that featured the men, but have never had any between the women. However, there was one Kiss My Foot Match between the women that took place at WWE’s Developmental Territory in late 2007, but it was kind of only one-sided because only one of the women in the match had the opportunity of getting her feet kissed by her opponent. When the men have Kiss My Foot Matches, it’s a pretty disturbing sight, but if the women had them, the sight would be much better. Bottom line, I think there should be more Kiss My Foot Matches between the women in any wrestling company.…
