WWE’s Most Contented Superstars

There are many superstars in WWE who are contented with their lives. There are, however, some who stand above the rest. NXT Has Made a Huge Impact in WWE

NXT_Wrestling

Whether it was the original version of NXT where an NXT Rookie was paired with a WWE Pro or NXT the current developmental system of WWE, many of today’s WWE Superstars on the main roster have come out of NXT. Some of these superstars have made it to the top, some have made a huge impact and some still have yet to make their presence felt. I am very confident that there will be many more superstars to come out of NXT in the near future.

NXT Alumni

The following superstars listed below have managed to land spots on the main roster. Some have gone on to become top stars, some are still working their way to the top and some even still spend part of their time down at NXT.

Adam Rose and some of his Rosebuds – Adam Rose owns numerous victories over former World Champion Jack Swagger and The Rosebuds continue to follow him.

AJ Lee – 3-time WWE Divas Champion and Slammy Award Winner.

Alex Riley – Owns victories over 3 former World Champions and current panelist for the Raw Pre-Show and for Kick-Off shows before the WWE Pay-Per-View events.

WWE Takes over Grand Rapids Once Again

Van Andel Arena

Last night, I was in attendance at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI for WWE Live. This event was not televised, but one of the best things about that is that something newsworthy can happen that a lot of people do not get to see.

Two Divas Switch Roles

Summer Rae and The Funkadactyls (Naomi & Cameron) teamed up against Layla, Eva Marie and Rosa Mendes; therefore, this means that Summer Rae is now a face and Eva Marie is now a heel. What began as a dance-off ended up turning into a Six-Diva Tag Team Match. In the end, Summer and The Funkadactyls were victorious.

Dancing Confidently

It would appear that Cody Rhodes has regained his confidence to team up with his half-brother Goldust once again because they teamed up against WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) and Wyatt Family members Luke Harper & Erick Rowan in a Triple Threat Match for the The Usos’ Championships. While I am a fan of both The Usos and The Rhodes Brothers, I was rooting for The Usos to win this one. I would also like to point out that during the match, both The …

NXT Takes Over the Night After WrestleMania

Paige WWE Divas Champion

Introduction

WrestleMania 31 is in the books. The following night on Raw, the WWE Universe was still feeling the impact that was made the previous night; however, what they did not expect to feel was the impact that NXT was going to be making throughout the entire Raw show. Whether it was the original NXT that featured pros and rookies paired together or NXT, the current developmental system for WWE, this night mostly belonged to NXT.

The Wyatt Family’s Mind Control?

During NXT alumni’s The Wyatt Family’s (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper & Erick Rowan) Six-Man Tag Team Match against the team of John Cena, Sheamus and current Intercontinental Champion Big E, there were a lot of WWE Universe members who rallied behind The Wyatt Family. Anybody who is familiar with them knows that they are all about the mind games. Is it possible that The Wyatt Family have gained control of some of the WWE Universe members’ minds? I guess only time will tell. I should also point out that The Wyatt Family was victorious in this match.

Emma Continues to “Emmaze”

NXT alumnus Emma recently arrived on the main roster. Ever since, she has impressed people with …

Main Event and Smackdown Return to Van Andel Arena

Van Andel Arena

Last week Tuesday, my dad and I were in attendance for the WWE Main Event (which airs Wednesdays at 8/7 PM CT on Ion Television) and Smackdown (which airs Fridays at 8/7 PM CT on Syfy) tapings at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am posting this now because I do not believe in putting spoilers in my posts. We were seated not very far away from ringside, so we had a pretty close view of the event.

Main Event

During the Main Event taping, a match between Naomi (accompanied by Cameron Lynn) and NXT standout Emma took place that didn’t end up being televised, with Naomi coming out the victor. Also, at the very beginning of a divas tag team match between The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie) and the team of Alicia Fox & Aksana, something awesome happened. I started a “Total Divas” chant for The Bellas and Nikki heard me because she pointed right at me. The Bellas were victorious in that match.

Smackdown

As for Smackdown, at one point during the show, Emma was in the audience during two matches, at least. This was the second week in a row that …

WWE NXT 6-26-13: Can The Wyatt Family Be Stopped?

Emma Advances

In the final first-round match of the tournament to determine the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion, Emma went one-on-one with Aksana. In the end, it was Emma who defeated Aksana by submission to advance to the semi-finals. After the match, Emma invited young members of the WWE Universe into the ring to dance with her, which indicates that she has turned face.

The Wyatt Family Continues to Terrorize NXT

In a match to determine the #1 Contenders to Wyatt Family members Luke Harper’s & Erick Rowan’s NXT Tag Team Championships, the team of Kassius Ohno and Corey Graves took on the team of Scott Dawson and Garrett Dylan (accompanied by Sylvester Lefort). In the end, it was Graves who won the match for his team by submission to become the new #1 contenders. Immediately following the match, The Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Luke Harper, & Erick Rowan) came out to attack Ohno and Graves. Dawson and Dylan eventually joined in on the beat down. Then, Adrian Neville came out to aid Ohno and Graves and eventually, William Regal left the announcers’ table to aid them as well. But in the end, iall four men were left lying in …

WWE NXT 6-19-13: NXT Women’s Championship Tournament Continues

On this edition of NXT, it was another first-round match for the tournament to determine the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion when Sasha Banks faced Summer Rae, with Summer coming out on top and advancing to the second round. On the upcoming edition of NXT, the final first-round match will be between Emma and Aksana. While I am not a fan of either of these women, I will be rooting against Aksana. Also, new NXT Champion Bo Dallas announced that while he was not at this edition of NXT, he will be at the upcoming edition of NXT.…

WWE NXT 5-29-13: New Championship for NXT

On this edition of NXT, WWE Executive Vice President Stephanie McMahon announced that beginning next week on NXT, there would be a tournament to determine the first-ever NXT Women’s Champion. The participants included in the tournament are Emma, Summer Rae, Paige, and other NXT Divas, as well as, Divas from both Raw and Smackdown. I think this is awesome because I was wondering if they were ever going to make a women’s championship for NXT. Also, in the main event, there was an 18-Man Battle Royal to determine the #1 contender to Big E Langston’s NXT Championship. In the end, it was Bo Dallas who eliminated Adrian Neville to win the Battle Royal and become the new #1 Contender.…

WWE NXT 4-17-13: The Shield’s Crusade Continues

The show began with Justin Gabriel going one-on-one with his former friend Leo Kruger with Kruger coming out on top. Also, Yoshi Tatsu went one-on-one with Bray Wyatt (accompanied by Erick Rowan and Luke Harper) with Wyatt coming out on top. Wyatt then gave a post-match attack to Tatsu followed by sharing some strange and disturbing words with the WWE Universe. Also, during an interview with Renee Young, Paige challenged Summer Rae to a one-on-one match next week on NXT, which lead to Summer jumping Paige from behind and accepting the challenge. Also, Bayley went one-on-one with Emma with Emma coming out on top. Finally, there was the main event Lumberjack Match between Corey Graves and Shield member Seth Rollins. While I am not a fan of either one of these guys, I was rooting against Rollins. In the end, despite the fact that Rollins gave his Shield cohorts Dean Ambrose & Roman Reigns the night off, the two of them show up and not only take out the Lumberjacks, but Ambrose also decks Corey Graves (unbeknownst to the ref) which allows Rollins to pick up the victory. Overall, this wasn’t one of the better editions of NXT because all …

WWE NXT 3-13-13 Review

The first match of the night was between Derrick Bateman and Kassius Ohno. After Kassius got the victory, he continued to attack Bateman. This led to William Regal leaving the announce table and putting a stop to Ohno’s attack. Regal later apologized because he felt he was being unprofessional. In my opinion, he didn’t have to apologize for anything because someone had to put a stop Ohno’s attack. The next match was between Emma and Summer Rae. Now while I am a fan of both women’s looks, I am not a fan of either one of them personally, so it was great to see them beat the hell out of one another. However, since I hate Summer Rae more, I was rooting against her. Summer ended up getting the victory, but after the match was over, Paige came storming down to the ring to get a piece of Summer Rae, who injured her shoulder. But Summer Rae chickened out and high-tailed it out of the ring. It’s obvious that the score between these two is far from settled. Backstage, Renee Young interviewed NXT Tag Team Champion Adrian Neville to get an update on his NXT Tag Team Championship partner Oliver …

WWE NXT 3-6-13 Review

The show started with NXT Creative Director, General Manager, Commissioner, and WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes announcing a triple-threat match between Bo Dallas, Corey Graves, and Conor O’Brian to determine the #1 contender to Big E Langston’s NXT Championship. To assure that The Shield would not get involved, Dusty had security all around the arena to prevent them from getting in. The first match was scheduled to be a non-title tag team match between NXT Tag Team Champions Adrian Neville and Oliver Gery against Judas Devlin & Scott Dawson. However, Oliver Grey was nowhere to be found, but Adrian Neville agreed to face his two opponents in a handicap match. Towards the end of the match, Oliver Grey was dragged out from backstage by The Wyatt Family, who apparently was responsible for Oliver’s absence. Regardless, Adrian still managed to get the victory by himself. Later in the show, there was a six-diva tag team match between the team of Sasha Banks and The Funkadactyls taking on the team of Alicia Fox, Aksana, and Audrey Marie, thus turning Alicia Fox heel (bad guy) in the process. Sasha and The Funkadactyls picked up the victory. Finally, in the main event triple-threat …

Kiss My Foot Matches Between the Women

The Rule of a Kiss My Foot Match is that the loser of the match must kiss the winner’s feet. Throughout wrestling history, WWE has had two Kiss My Foot Matches that featured the men, but have never had any between the women. However, there was one Kiss My Foot Match between the women that took place at WWE’s Developmental Territory in late 2007, but it was kind of only one-sided because only one of the women in the match had the opportunity of getting her feet kissed by her opponent. When the men have Kiss My Foot Matches, it’s a pretty disturbing sight, but if the women had them, the sight would be much better. Bottom line, I think there should be more Kiss My Foot Matches between the women in any wrestling company.…
