OVW TV 4-27-13: The Coalition Continues Its Terror

The show began with The Coalition coming out; conspicuous by his absence was the leader Crimson. Second-In-Command Jason Wayne reminded everybody that OVW is in a state of war. Then, OVW Director of Operations Michael Hayes comes out and tells them that there are a bunch of guys in the locker room that want to get their hands on them. He then had those guys come out; the men that came out were Rob Terry, OVW Television Champion Rockstar Spud, Randy Royal, Tony Gunn, Eddie Diamond, and surprisingly, Jay Bradley. Bradley made it clear that he did not like or care about the other guys that were opposing The Coalition, but he has an issue with The Coalition because he feels that they ruined his opportunity to make a statement. Michael Hayes then decides to make a 12-Man Tag Team Match for the main event of the evening between The Coalition and the six guys from the OVW locker room standing in the ring. Also, while Ryan Howe is getting ready for his tag team match backstage, Heidi Lovelace comes in and tries to tell Howe about the gifts that Taeler Hendrix has been receiving for the past several weeks. …

OVW TV 4-20-13: The Coalition Take Over

The first match of the night was Eddie Diamond (accompanied by Timmy Danger) going one-on-one with Jessie Godderz. During the match, members of The Coalition come out and attack Eddie Diamond, thus getting the win by disqualification. Once The Coalition turned their attention to Jessie Godderz, he took off and The Coalition finished disposing of Diamond. Also, Doug Williams revealed to the new OVW Heavyweight Champion Jamin Olivencia that he had invoked his rematch clause for the upcoming Saturday Night Special. Backstage, Sam Shaw was attacked by members of The Coalition. Also, OVW Television Champion Rockstar Spud was scheduled to defend against Randy Royal, but while Spud was making his way towards the ring, members of The Coalition came out and attacked him. Spud was deemed unable to compete. Furious over not getting his opportunity at the championship, Randy Royal challenged any two members of The Coalition to face him and his friend Tony Gunn. Coalition members Jack Black & Joe Coleman accepted the challenge. Eventually, other Coalition members come out to distract the ref and Coleman takes this opportunity to grab a belt of bullets and use them on Gunn; this allows Coleman to get the pin and the …

OVW TV 4-13-13: Jamin Olivencia Finally Wins the OVW Heavyweight Championship, But At What Cost?

On this edition of OVW TV, our prayers were answered when it was announced that OVW Commentator Michael Titus was not there that night due to the fact that he was on assignment. I am definitely sick and tired of listening to this guy every single week. This guy needs to be removed from commentary permanently. Anyway, the show began with Jamin Olivencia calling out OVW Heavyweight Champion Doug Williams. Here’s the reason why; at the Saturday Night Special the week before, Doug Williams defended his championship against Jamin Olivencia. At one point during match, Williams actually drove his own shoulder into the steel ring pole to make it seem like Jamin did it. He then feigned an injury so that the ref would dub him unable to continue and throw the match out, thus weaseling his way out to keep his championship. Williams had pulled it off after being stretchered out of the arena and giving a thumbs up to the cameras. Back to Jamin calling out Williams, Williams came out wearing an arm sling and denying the allegations of his scheme. Then, out comes OVW Director of Operations Michael Hayes and shows everybody video evidence that Williams did …

OVW TV 4-6-13: Doug Williams Wants No Part of Jamin Olivencia

The show began with a security camera showing Jamin Olivencia arriving outside the arena. Then, out of nowhere, a truck nearly runs over him. Also, while OVW Director of Operations Michael Hayes is addressing the fans, he is interrupted by The Coalition. Just as The Coalition is about to attack Hayes, OVW Southern Tag Team Champions The Gut Checkers come to his aid. The Gut Checkers then tell Coalition members Crimson & Jason Wayne that they will put their championships on the line in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match. Michael Hayes makes the match official and bans the other members of The Coalition from ringside. However, just before the match officially begins, the other members of The Coalition come back out and attack The Gut Checkers. During the melee, one half of The Gut Checkers, Alex Silva, appears to get his head rammed quite hard into the ring post. Then, Michael Hayes comes back out and tells the other members of The Coalition that they are banned from the arena altogether. Afterwards, despite Alex Silva being completely out of it, the referee officially begins the match. The Coalition get the easy first fall; then, they figure they have all the time …

OVW TV 3-30-13: Doug Williams Screws Doug Williams

The show began with #1 contender to the OVW Heavyweight Championship Crimson reminding champion Doug Williams about the deal that he and Williams made as far as preventing Jamin Olivencia from becoming the #1 contender to Williams’ championship. That deal was that Crimson could have his championship opportunity at anytime and anywhere and Crimson Told Williams that he wanted his opportunity that night. Doug Williams reluctantly agreed. Also, the 24/7 match between Rudy Switchblade and Jessie Godderz continued and it still continues on as we speak. Also, during Paredyse’s match with Albert E. Baxter II, Brittany DeVore appeared on the titantron and vowed vengeance upon him, Brandon Espinosa, and Chris for the stunt that they had pulled on her the previous week. Despite the minor distraction, Paredyse still managed to defeat Baxter. Also, it was the battle of the rockstars when OVW Television Champion Rockstar Spud defended his championship against “Wrestling’s Rockstar” Ryan Howe. Ever since Rockstar Spud made his first OVW TV appearance, I’ve been waiting for these two rockstars to encounter one another and wondering what would happen between the two. I’m a fan of both of these guys, but I decided to root for Rockstar Spud. During …

OVW TV 3-23-13: Jamin Olivencia Gets Screwed Again

On this edition of OVW TV, after getting a makeover, courtesy of The Mascara Mafia, Paredyse revealed Brittany DeVore to the entire world. However, when Paredyse had Brittany stand in a certain spot, Brandon Espinosa came up from behind her and dumped a bucket of mustard all over her; therefore, this whole makeover thing was all a trap. My whole take on this is that after weeks of giving Brittany a hard time, giving her a makeover, and then embarrassing her the way that The Mascara Mafia did on this edition of OVW TV, they are not only embracing their feminine sides, but their mean girl sides as well. For those who don’t know, Paredyse and Espinosa are supposed to be a gay couple and if I’m not mistaken, I think gay guys are known for getting in touch with their feminine sides. With that being said, The Mascara Mafia better realize that their feminine sides won’t save them from the wrath of Brittany’s allies, Adam Revolver and Ted McNaler, The Mobile Homers. There will definitely be hell to pay. Also, the 24/7 match between Jessie Godderz and Rudy Switchblade continued and there is still no winner. In the main …

OVW TV 3-16-13 Review

The show started out with OVW Director of Operations Michael Hayes booking a tournament to determine the #1 contender to OVW Heavyweight Champion Doug Williams. The four men that were entered in this tournament were Jamin Olivencia, Rob Terry, and Coalition members Crimson and Jason Wayne. The two matches for the first round were Rob Terry vs Crimson and Jamin Olivencia vs Jason Wayne. Crimson advanced to the finals thanks to some assistance from other members of The Coalition and Jamin Olivencia advanced to the finals in his match by defeating Jason Wayne. Therefore, the finals match to determine the #1 contender will be Jamin Olivencia vs Crimson. Also, Rockstar Spud defeated Cliff Compton to become the new OVW Television Champion. I think that Jamin Olivencia will end up winning the tournament and going on to defeat Doug Williams for the championship like he should have the last time.…

OVW TV 3-9-13 Review

On this edition of OVW TV, Randy Royal finally got an opportunity at Cliff Compton’s OVW Television Championship after weeks of eying it. Randy Royal has been trying to get back on full track after the heart attack he suffered and throughout the match Royal seemed to be struggling a bit. This worried his friend Tony Gunn, so he stepped in the ring to stop Cliff Compton which would cause a disqualification for Royal. Also, at the end of the show, New OVW Heavyweight Champion Jamin Olivencia came out to address his victory at the Saturday Night Special. Eventually however, former champ Doug Williams came out with some referees and the OVW Director of Operations Michael Hayes. Doug Williams reminded everybody that he punched the ref (accidentally may I add) during his match with Olivencia at the Saturday Night Special which knocked the ref out temporarily. Doug said he spoke with the OVW Board of Directors and they agreed that he should have been disqualified. Therefore, Doug Williams lost the match, but not the championship. Hayes and the referees reluctantly had Olivenica hand over the championship so it could be returned to Williams. This was total B.S., Doug Williams took …

OVW Saturday Night Special 3-2-13 Review

At the Saturday Night Special, Rudy Switchblade and Jessie Godderz were supposed to have a No Disqualifications Match, but Jessie didn’t show up. There were two championships that changed hands. First, Epiphany beat Jessie Belle to become the new OVW Women’s Champion. Second, Jamin Olivenica beat Doug Williams to become the new OVW Heavyweight Champion. Lastly, Trailer Park Trash finally beat Flash Flanagan in TPT’s final match. Overall, it sounds like the Saturday Night Special was pretty good, I’m definitely glad that TPT finally put Flash Flanagan and Josette Bynum in their place. To TPT, I wish him all the best in his future endeavors.…

OVW TV 3-2-13 Review

OVW Director of Operations and former U.S. Military Serviceman Michael Hayes called out The Coalition and expressed his anger towards their recent actions, which have been disgraceful to all the U.S. Military Service Men and Women. He specifically directed it towards Crimson and Jason Wayne since they too are former U.S. Military Servicemen. He informed the two that they would be defending their OVW Southern Tag Team Championship against The Gut Checkers on this edition of OVW TV instead of at the Saturday Night Special. The Gut Checkers ended up regaining the championship from Crimson and Wayne. After the match was over, fellow Coalition members Joe Coleman and Jack Black challenged the new champions for their championship at the Saturday Night Special, which was accepted. Also, Michael Hayes informed Josette Bynum that she would be banned from ringside during the match between Trailer Park Trash and Flash Flanagan at the Saturday Night Special, which was to be TPT’s last match. Lastly, Robbie E made his first-ever appearance at an OVW event end teamed up with OVW Heavyweight Champion Doug Williams to take on the team of Jamin Olivencia and Rob Terry. Olivencia and Terry ended up being victorious.…
