WrestleMania Rematches at SummerSlam

WrestleMania and SummerSlam

As many may know, WWE’s biggest show of the year is WrestleMania. The company’s second biggest show of the year is SummerSlam. One thing that I particularly like about both events is the fact that there have been a select few WrestleMania matches that have had rematches at SummerSlam later that year. Some matches are very memorable and some are not so memorable. Without further ado, here is the list of those matches.

Superstars Who Have Held It All from ROH…Except the Big One

ROH World Championship 2018

Throughout the history of ROH, there have been three Superstars that have held every major championship that the company has/had to offer; however, there has been one championship that has eluded three Superstars, that being the biggest one, the ROH World Championship. Some of these Superstars might still accomplish this and some may not. With that being said, here is the list of the four Superstars who have held every major championship from ROH except the ROH World Championship.

Greatest Tag Teams in Wrestling History

Edge & Christian

I came across an article that ranked WWE’s top 50 greatest tag teams; the article was published on WWE.com on October 1, 2013. This article only consisted of tag teams from WWE’s history, which means that there were no tag teams from WCW’s, ECW’s or any other wrestling company’s history. Tag teams that made the list were teams like The Steiners, The Brothers of Destruction, The Rockers, The Dudley Boyz, Legion of Doom, The Hardy Boyz, Demolition, The Hart Foundation, Edge & Christian, just to name a few. The article also features a link to a photo gallery showing photos of some of the tag teams that made the list, including one tag team that just barely missed making the list. Below are lists of tag teams that did not make the list that I feel are some of the greatest tag teams of all time; not just throughout WWE history, but the entire history of wrestling. I highly encourage the people who are reading this article to list some tag teams as well.

Two Successful Factions That featured Four Successful Superstars

fourhorsemen nwo-logo

What do Sting (the real Sting, not the fake Sting); Jeff Jarrett, Lex Luger and Curt Hennig all have in common? They were all, at one time or another, members of two of the most successful factions in wrestling history; The Four Horsemen and The New World Order (nWo). All four of these men have had Hall of Fame worthy careers. In addition to being a multi-time World Champion, Sting was the heart and soul of World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He has changed his looks over the years with his famous face paint and is a TNA Hall of Famer. Jeff Jarrett, who is also a multi-time World Champion, was one of the Co-Founders of Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling, along with his father Jerry Jarrett. Lex Luger is a multi-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and is famous for bodyslamming the 500-plus pound Yokozuna during his WWE tenure; he represented the United States of America against Yokozuna’s anti-American ways. The late, great Curt Hennig is a former AWA World Champion; he made a name for himself under his “Mr. Perfect” persona and is a WWE Hall of Famer. While only two of these four guys may be Hall of Famers, I …

We All Have an Alter Ego

The Three Faces of Foley

Throughout the history of wrestling, there have been many Superstars who have developed one alter ego or another. Some alter egos are very memorable, some not so much. Whether these alter egos were funny, bizarre, scary, sexy, etc., they were always entertaining. This would always leave fans wondering if that certain Superstar would show up as him/herself or as his/her alter ego. From Mick Foley to Cody Rhodes, here is the list of Superstars, in no particular order, who have led double or more lives throughout their careers.

From Bodyguards to Wrestlers

Andrew Martin  tyson-tomko

Before they became wrestlers, four guys once served as bodyguards for famous music artists. Former WWE and IMPACT Wrestling Superstar the late Andrew “Test” Martin was a bodyguard for legendary rock band Motley Crue, former WWE and IMPACT Wrestling Superstar Tomko was a bodyguard for Limp Bizkit, former WWE and current IMPACT Wrestling Superstar Brodus Clay/Tyrus was a bodyguard for iconic hip hop artist and WWE Hall of Famer (Celebrity Wing) Snoop Dogg and current WWE Superstar Sheamus was a bodyguard for legendary rock band and fellow Irishmen U2. All four of these men would go on to achieve success in the world of wrestling. Test would go on to hold the Intercontinental, European, Hardcore, and World Tag Team Championships; I definitely think he was one of the most underrated wrestlers. Tomko would go on to become an IMPACT World Tag Team Champion and a team captain for Team Tomko, a team of the best Superstars IMPACT Wrestling had to offer; I would also put him in the underrated category. Tyrus has found success in IMPACT Wrestling by earning himself an opportunity at the IMPACT World Championship, but he came up short; I would also label him underrated. Sheamus …
