Real-Life Wrestling Tag Teams

Real-Life Wrestling Tag Teams 2

Throughout wrestling history, there have been many tag teams. Some are very memorable, some are not. A lot of them are storyline tag teams, but did you know that there are also real-life tag teams. What this means is that there are two wrestling Superstars who are friends, couples or family members in real life. Below is the list of real-life tag teams. Some have made it into the storyline, some have not.

Best Theme Music in Wrestling History

Stone Cold Steve Austin

There are many Superstars throughout the history of wrestling. There are many things that make a Superstar. For example, there are the wrestling moves and the wrestling gear, but one of the most important things that really make a Superstar stand out is the theme music that they use to enter the arena before their matches. Below is the list of theme music that I personally feel is some of the best of all time. Some themes might include numerous ones by a single Superstar, some might sound similar and some might have been used by more than one Superstar. Readers can feel free to suggest any theme music in the comments section and if I agree with you, then I will add that theme to the list.

ROH Has Produced Many Great Superstars

ROH New Logo

Ring of Honor (ROH) is an independent wrestling company that is based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. One of the things that makes ROH so great is the fact that it is responsible for creating some of the greatest superstars to ever set foot in World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) and in Total Nonstop Action (TNA). Some of these names include Mickie James, Awesome Kong, Daniel Bryan, Austin Aries, Samoa Joe, CM Punk, Low Ki, AJ Styles, Cesaro, Seth Rollins, Alex Shelley, Kevin Owens, Kenny King, Gunner, Dean Ambrose, Christopher Daniels, Abyss, The Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) and Sami Zayn. Many of these superstars have gone on to hold championships from one or both companies, including World Championships, WWE/TNA Tag Team Championships and Women’s/Divas/Knockouts Championships. I am confident that ROH will continue to produce more stars that will eventually go on to either WWE or TNA.…

Superstars Who Have Held It All from ROH…Except the Big One

ROH World Championship

Throughout the history of ROH, there have been three Superstars that have held every major championship that the company has/had to offer; however, there has been one championship that has eluded three Superstars, that being the biggest one, the ROH World Championship. Some of these Superstars might still accomplish this and some may not. With that being said, here is the list of the three Superstars who have held every major championship from ROH except the ROH World Championship.

There are only three Superstars in the history of sports-entertainment that have earned the right to be called an ROH Triple Crown Champion. In order to be called an ROH Triple Crown Champion, a Superstar would have to have held the ROH World Championship, the ROH Television Championship and the ROH Tag Team Championship. Listed below are the three Superstars who have become ROH Triple Crown Champions.

PWMania

PWMania.com is an awesome wrestling site. It is a site that features news that gives insights on wrestling stars and events, as well reviews of wrestling events that took place. In addition to all that, it also features some great videos and photos. There is also a columns section; one specific column that caught my attention is a column called “Today In Wrestling History”. This is a daily column that discusses significant events that took place and championship changes that took place on that day; it also shows which wrestling stars have a birthday that day, as well. I believe that this site is very interesting and informative, so check it out.…

Daily Wrestling News

This is a wrestling site that does feature news and results from WWE and TNA events; however, for the most part, this site revolves around wrestling news that is behind-the-scenes/backstage and life for wrestlers outside the ring. For instance, there are articles that discuss wrestlers’ statuses with whichever wrestling company they are in. Also, there are photos that feature superstars doing activities outside the ring and spending time at their homes. In addition to all of this, this site also features some great GIFs of the women of wrestling. So, if there are any wrestling fans that are interested in finding out about behind-the-scenes/backstage and life outside the ring, then this is definitely a site that you should check out.…

Cheap-Heat

Cheap-Heat.com is a wrestling site that features news and results from WWE, TNA, ROH, and other independent wrestling companies. It also features not one, but two polls at a time posted on the home page of the site. In addition to all that, the site also features blogs and podcasts. Also, for MMA fans out there, the site features news and results from there, as well. So, for any wrestling and MMA fans out there, I think this site is worth checking out.…

Things That Need To/Should Happen In ROH In 2014

roh wrestling

The year 2014 has officially begun. With that being said, here are some things that I think need to, or at least should, happen in ROH in 2014.

Remove Steve Corino from Commentary

The one current heel commentator in ROH is Steve Corino. Now, while I do not find him as unbearable as the other current heel commentators from the other two respective wrestling companies (John “Bradshaw” Layfield in WWE and Taz and Michael Titus in TNA), he still tends to antagonize his fellow commentators, the faces, and the fans of ROH, defend and sympathize with his fellow heels’ dastardly ways, spew propaganda, and be hypocritical like the other heel commentators from the other two wrestling companies. ROH not only needs to remove Corino from commentary, but also not put any more heels on commentary afterwards. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the fans of ROH have to put up with enough other garbage from the heels.

Get the Women of Honor More Involved

One thing that I have noticed about ROH is that they do not have the Women of Honor competing in that many matches. ROH should not only have more matches between …

ROH Needs to Create A Ladies’ Championship

Women of Honor

WWE, TNA, and ROH are the top three wrestling
companies in the world today (in that order, by the way). All three of the
companies have a World Championship, but while WWE and TNA have a Ladies’
Championship, ROH does not. The Ladies’ Championship is basically supposed to
be the women’s version of the World Championship. When a woman wins the Ladies’
Championship, then she can claim that she made it to the top. I personally feel
that the Women of Honor (the name for all the women who are in ROH) deserve to
have that opportunity to make to the top in ROH.…

ROH TV 5-25-13: Epic Main Event

On this edition of ROH TV, announcer and wrestler Veda Scott, still pissed about MsChif spitting green mist into her face a few weeks ago on ROH TV, challenged MsChif to a match. Speaking of MsChif, she went one-on-one with Cherry Bomb. At first, I thought that maybe Veda Scott had turned heel a few weeks ago; however, after seeing her use some underhanded tactics during the match, I’m thinking it’s MsChif who has turned heel. As for the ending result of the match, while the referee had his back turned, Veda Scott came out and snapped MsChif’s neck off the rope ring rope; this allowed Cherry Bomb to capitalize and finish off MsChif to get the victory. The only question that remains is whether or not MsChif will accept Veda’s challenge. Personally, I hope so because I’ve never seen Veda in an official wrestling match before. Also, ROH Match Maker Nigel McGuinness decided to make the ROH Championship match between The Briscoe Brothers, Jay being the champion and Mark being the challenger, happen and it will take place at the upcoming Best In the World 2013 I-PPV event. While I am a fan of both of The Briscoe Brothers, …
