When Will the TNA Television Championship Be Defended Again?

220px-AbyssTVChamp1

Current TNA Television Champion Abyss has held the championship for nearly a year now and I don’t think he has defended it ever since. As a matter of fact, Abyss has not even been carrying the belt with him. I think TNA needs to do something about this because as the Television Championship, it should be defended on television on a regular basis. I hope that Abyss defends the championship soon and ends up losing it to a fan favorite.…

WWE Screwed Up With Ryback’s Character

ryback-sd663photo054-1336227596

I truly feel that WWE took Ryback’s character in the wrong direction. In 2012, his character developed a huge fan base. He went undefeated for most of that year, he had the whole crowd chanting “Feed Me More”, he was featured in high-profile and main event matches, and became extremely close to making it to the top of the mountain. WWE had everything going for Ryback. That is until 2013; they decided to turn him into a heel. From that point on, WWE not only made significant changes to his character, but he slowly began to drift further and further away from making it to the top throughout that whole year. By the time 2013 was coming to a close, he had only been competing in mid-card tag team matches with his tag team partner Curtis Axel. WWE still continues to use Ryback’s character in this sort of fashion to this day and Rybaxel (Ryback & Axel’s tag team name) have won very few matches since teaming up together. Bottom line, Ryback’s character had everything going and just like that, WWE decides to change it up; they should have just left his character the way it was because it was …

Also, there are photos that feature superstars doing activities outside the ring and spending time at their homes. So, if there are any wrestling fans that are interested in finding out about behind-the-scenes/backstage and life outside the ring, then this is definitely a site that you should check out.…

Where There’s Wrestling, There’s Backstabbers

hbk_barber

On this week’s edition of WWE Countdown on the WWE Network, the top ten back stabbings in history were counted down. My prediction for number one was either the infamous “Montreal Screw Job” that took place at Survivor Series 1997 between Mr. McMahon, Shawn Michaels, and Bret Hart or when Shawn Michaels super kicked his Rockers tag team partner Marty Jannetty and threw him through a plate-glass window. Well, I was right on the money because the “Montreal Screw Job” was listed at number two and Shawn Michaels’ attack on Marty Jannetty was listed at number one. While I thought the ones that made the list were good ones, there are also some good ones that I think could have made the list. For instance, I think the night that Stone Cold Steve Austin aligned himself with Mr. McMahon at WrestleMania 17 was a good one. Another good one is when Christian turned his back on Edge back in 2001. One thing about that betrayal is the fact that while Christian had every intention of skyrocketing his career and plummeting Edge’s, it ultimately backfired because from that point on, Edge was on his way to becoming a very successful singles …

Marty Jannetty Was Not A Nobody, He Was Underrated

MartyJannetty002

One of the greatest tag teams of all time are The Rockers (Shawn Michaels & Marty Jannetty). After the ugly break-up between the two, a lot of people are saying that while Shawn Michaels went on to become one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time, which he did, Marty Jannetty on the other hand, went on to become nobody. I do not believe that for one second; Jannetty went on to become Intercontinental Champion and one-half of the World Tag Team Champions (alongside The 1-2-3 Kid). If he would have gone on to become WWE World Heavyweight Champion, he would be among the list of WWE’s Triple Crown Champions, which includes Shawn Michaels. So, while Jannetty did not achieve the same amount of fame and success that Michaels achieved, I would say he still did pretty well for himself. Bottom line, contrary to what many people are saying, I truly believe that Marty Jannetty is one of, if not the most, underrated WWE Superstars in history.…

Angelina Love Returns to TNA

Angelina Love’s Proposal

On the March 13, 2014 edition of Impact Wrestling, former TNA Knockout Women’s Champion Angelina Love made her surprise return to TNA. Angelina called out her former Beautiful People cohort Velvet Sky and told her that after being gone from TNA for quite some time, she realizes that she owes a lot of her success in the company to Velvet. She tells Velvet that if it wasn’t for her and Angelina coming together about seven years ago and forming The Beautiful People, then Angelina would not have achieved the success that she has in TNA. Angelina then offered Velvet to put The Beautiful People back together. Velvet responded by telling Angelina that they will always be BBFs no matter what, but she then tells Angelina that a lot of things have changed in TNA since she left and that she is ready to move forward. Angelina responds by telling her that maybe the best way to move forward is by taking one step back. Velvet then tells her that she will take some time to think things over and the two end their conversation with a hug.

The Beautiful People

 My Proposal

I agree with Angelina and Velvet getting …

The Usos Carry On the Family Legacy

The Wild Samoans The HeadshrinkersThe Usos A couple of weeks ago on WWE Raw, The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) became the third generation of their family to make it to the top of WWE’s tag team division by beating The New Age Outlaws for the WWE Tag Team Championship. The Usos’ great uncles and WWE Hall of Famers The Wild Samoans (Afa & Sika) held the World Tag Team Championship on two occasions in the early 80s. The next generation to make it to the top were The Usos’ second cousin and father The Headshrinkers (Samu & Fatu, who later became known as Rikishi) when they became the World Tag Team Champions in 1994. Today, The Usos proudly carry on their family’s legacy and I personally hope that their championship reign lasts a long time.…

WWE Goes “Beyond the Ring”

Beyond the Ring

As many people may know, the WWE Network is up and running. There are definitely some interesting original programs on there. One of those programs is called “Beyond the Ring”. This program shows behind-the-scenes documentaries from DVDs/Blue Ray discs courtesy of WWE Home Video. Below are the documentaries that the WWE Network has aired thus far.

Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart

This is the documentary that gives the inside scoop on the classic rivalry between Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart both inside and outside of the ring. One interesting fact people will find out is the fact that the animosity between these two started quite some time before the infamous “Montreal Screw Job” took place. I am definitely glad that they ended up patching things up in the end.

Stone Cold Steve Austin

This is a documentary that tells the story about Stone Cold’s rise to fame. It goes back to his early days in WCCW and USWA to his average rise in WCW and ECW all the way to his rise to superstardom in WWE. There were definitely a lot of interesting things shown in this, but there is one thing that wasn’t shown that I wish …

There Needs to Be a Face in the World Championship Match at WrestleMania 30

CM Punk vs. Randy Orton vs. Batista

As of right now, the main event match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 30 is going to be the champion Randy Orton against the challenger Batista. The only problem is that both of these guys are currently heels. There needs to be a face in the World Championship match because not once in the history of WrestleMania has there been a World Championship Match that did not include a face and it certainly should not start now. If that face does not end up being CM Punk, then WWE needs to put someone in that match as the face and make it a Triple Threat Match for the championship. Make it happen WWE!…

Taryn Terrell Gives Birth to a Healthy Baby Girl

Taryn Terrell

For nearly a year now, Taryn Terrell has been MIA from TNA. It turns out the reason why she’s been gone for awhile is because she was pregnant. A few days ago, Taryn gave birth to a baby girl named Emerson; to see a photo of her with her child, log on to Taryn’s Twitter account @TheTarynTerrell. This marks the second TNA Knockout in history to have a child with Madison Rayne being the first. Madison Rayne has already returned to action to become the TNA Knockout Women’s Champion once again, which she still currently holds. I am definitely hoping that when Taryn returns, she will win the championship for the first time ever.…
